Are we hearing anything from the D.A.’s Office regarding charges against the proprietor of the fireworks stand?
It would not surprise me if he tries to charge the citizens who defended themselves with some trumped up charge.

If the robbers never got a shot off then I can see some bleeding heart liberal D.A. trying to use the shopkeeper’s competence and presence of mind to make the thieving scum look like the victims.

The States Attorney's Office in Rapides Parish (Alexandria, LA) will most likely make no adverse action on this business owner. Most Southern states have statutes that support this type of activity. Florida has the Stand Your Ground law; you get legitimately threatened (at home, in your car) you simply take them out. No questions asked.

In Louisiana, you play, you pay. And that's a good thing.
