Romney is a POS RINO and should be exposed as such on a regular basis so that people do not forget.

There's more where this one came from.

Now, if only the Romneybots would come out and..."play." LOL

I agree with your evaluation to the extent that Romney has proven himself to be more interested in gaining political power than in standing for anything that bears even the faintest whiff of "principle". I have certainly not been above criticizing him myself in this space.

My concern, however, is that we focus too much on the soft socialists in our party and too little on the Communists in the other one.

Looks like Romney the RINO isn't even a good Mormon.

That so called “liberal abortion” law was ten times more conservative than Mitt Romney’s absolute right of the mother to murder her child declaration.

There are varying degrees of pro life. Life of the mother vs health of the mother. Ronald Reagan never crossed the line into pro death. He was even sorry that the democrats twisted health of the mother into something he never intended it to be.

Mitt Romney was pro death from the start and is still pro death with his embryonic nonsense. There is no equivalency here. Romney has never seen murdering babies as a problem and he still doesn’t.

LDS says (from lds.org):

“Abortion - Human life is a sacred gift from God. Elective abortion for personal or social convenience is contrary to the will and the commandments of God. Church members who submit to, perform, encourage, pay for, or arrange for such abortions may lose their membership in the Church.”

So, how is the speaking the truth (Looks like Romney the RINO isn’t even a good Mormon.) “bashing”?

But the more attention we pay to him, the less we are spending on the Democrats who are truly positioned to do lasting damage to the Republic.

The LDS position isn’t so cut and dried. They allow for abortion in many more cases, including if you (and your bishop) feel “led” to it by prayer.

the Mormon church accepts abortion for a number of reasons. The Church Handbook of Instructions, approved in September, 1998, states that abortion may be performed in the following circumstances: pregnancy resulting from rape or incest; a competent physician says the life or health of the mother is in serious jeopardy; or a competent physician says that the “fetus” has severe defects that will not allow the “baby” to survive beyond birth. In any case, the persons responsible must first consult with their church leader and receive God’s approval in prayer (156).

A further statement in the Handbook says: “The church has not favored or opposed legislative proposals or public demonstrations concerning abortion (156).” While the Mormon prophet claims to speak the mind and will of God, he can neither figure out when the unborn child becomes human or if it is God’s desire that we protect the unborn unconditionally.

I expect that's true. But unlike economics, politics really is a zero-sum game. Beating down on fellow Republicans (even, as here, if they richly deserve it) just gives the other side more ammunition.

...the time that my mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a US Senate candidate.
Yet his Mom didn't abort him? She could've gone down a back street to have him done in or even grabbed a clothes hanger and done it herself to put her convictions into action.

How about do your Mom a favor and perform a very, very late term abortion on yourself Mitt?

My concern, however, is that we focus too much on the soft socialists in our party and too little on the Communists in the other one.

The first goal is to prevent the establishment and the media from appointing Mitt Romney as the leader of the opposition to the liberal agenda by them making him the GOP nominee.

We can't choose the left's candidate, but we can choose our candidate, and to do that we have to stop the Romney machine. We don't do that by staying out of the primary process and passively waiting to see who "they" choose for us.

There's a solution in reply #38 that will ease all of it.
Be sure to let me knows what you think of the solution.
I'm very interested if you believe he should stand on his convictions too.
