A former Manoa resident sent President Barack Obama an old photo of the two of them taken while they were third-grade classmates at Noelani Elementary School, requesting an autograph more than six months ago. He recently received the autographed picture back, as well as a personally signed thank-you note.

I believe the above is only true if Barry was born outside the US and US territories, as would be the case for a Kenya birth. I don’t believe there is an age limit for a married or unmarried US citizen mother to confer citizenship for a birth on US soil. Otherwise all children of underage unmarried mothers would not be citizens. In my view, only SCOTUS can determine (and hasn’t yet) whether the legitimate or illegitimate child of an US citizen mother and a foreign citizen father can be NBC.

From my memory of prior FReeper posts, Dr. West was retired five years before Barry was born, but worked in HI vital records and might have seen the original birth report...say of a home birth, and Snopes is run by two activist lefties out of their basement.

I never thought of that. Looking at the picture and my son, who was in the 3rd grade last year, and my daughter in the second grade, Barry does look a little old for the third grade.

my youngest son is nine... he is tall, taller than all the kids on his baseball team and taller than his buddies... he is well-spoken... he is lanky, no baby fat... his face looks mature... since he was about six years old, people have thought him to be a couple of years older... he is in the fourth grade, but people think he's in the sixth grade... he just looks more mature... on a side note, he's quite intelligent so that adds to people's perception...

What are the chances that kindergarden photo is altered?
Who is the classmate who submitted the photo?
Why would Inoue forget about knowing obama 3 years previously? What made obama different this time?

I think that Inoue's memory is being played with, unless he can find his own copy of the 5 year olds together. OTOH, how much was he paid and why would he reveal this photo?
Why haven't the other classmates come forward?

I believe the obama team is rebuilding a new false version of obama's life. They're sneaking it in little by little. Also, the timing is too strange.

At the risk of being a prude, it frankly does concern me that we’ve now had 2 of the past 3 presidents from really dysfunctional backgrounds. I have always thought that if Clinton had had the type of stability provided by his late life adopted father, ole ‘41’, he could have been a great president. As it was, all his ‘issues’ resulting from that dysfunction played out on the national and world stage.

His classmate, Barry Obama, didn't last that long. His family moved to Indonesia sometime during the school year.

So let me get this straight. The Obama "official story line" is that Obama went to school from 6 to 10 years old from 1967 to 1971 in Indonesia, but we find out now that he went to school in Hawaii as an 8 year old third grader.

Gee, how come we didn't hear about this in his autobiographies since they are the paragon of Obama truth telling?

You are correct to state that is true if Barry was born outside the country.

The thing is, I am not convinced of where he was born.

There should be no problem conferring Natural Born Citizenship is he was born here and of two parents who are or were U.S. citizens at that time.

First three days in a new White House for a completely new administration in power for the first time in 8 years.

But Obama spends his days signing letters to a Hawaiian hospital where he claims he was born, signing pictures about a third grade class his biography claims he didn't (could not have) attended ....

There is one distinction vis a vis the territories. Their citizens, U.S. citizens, can vote in our presidential elections but they get no electoral votes; also they don’t have Senators or Congressmen. Even DC now has electoral votes, while not having senators. DC’s ‘representative’ status is tricky, changing from Congress to Congress.

I have seen articles where the year of return from Indonesia was stated as 1970. The image we are looking at probably relates to Christmas 1969.

Interesting statement from that article. For a boy, who had a single mother on welfare, he sure went to a lot of very expensive schools throughout his lifetime! Tuition at Punahou is only $17,300 per year. ;-)
