"So, I think a public case might go a long way in reducing Sarah Palin's instinct to attack."
Johnston said he didn't want to hurt or embarrass his son -- or Bristol. He thinks Sarah Palin, not Bristol, is acting with "sheer malice," Butler wrote in a court filing.
"He feels Sarah Palin, through her lawyer, under the guise of Bristol Palin's name, would run roughshod over his very bones," Butler wrote."

All the more reason that the judge should have kept the proceedings secret. The language the young man used in the affidavit was a huge red flag. One must wonder why an experienced judge would allow a 19 year old brat to determine such an important aspect of this custody case.
This type of case is always heard in private.
Really. I sat on a custody case jury and that wasn’t in private but rather open court. This was in Texas so don’t know what the law says up Alaska way.
As far as I’m concerned, the judge made a very foolish decision and I question whether she has the common sense required to be a judge.
As for that idiot Levi, poor Tripp is saddled with him forever. When Tripp is old enough to realize just what harm his father willingly and knowingly brought to both Sarah’s and Bristol’s reputations, I think Levi will be out of luck.
Sooner or later that little boy will be old enough to realize his dad is a loser. Levi should think about that now and do what is right for his child, namely keeping these proceedings sealed.
