From President Barack Obama's historic inauguration to Tiger Woods' surreal fall from grace, 2009 has proved to be a tumultuous time in American history. As the year comes to a close, we take a look back at the political controversies, celebrity scandals, and public outrages that most defined the end of this decade.

January
OBAMA INAUGURATION STIRS RACIAL TENSIONS
With the economy teetering on the edge of collapse, the nation's first African-American president is sworn into office under what many commentators consider the most difficult domestic circumstances since the Great Depression. His skin color continues to provoke debate: While Rush Limbaugh worries that Republicans won't properly oppose the president's "radical" agenda because "they're afraid of being called racists," Robert Schlesinger in U.S. News & World Report counters: "Obama ran as a presidential candidate who was African-American rather than an African-American presidential candidate."

Naturally, the libtards forgot a few minor incidents, like the tanking economy, Obozo's dropping approval numbers, his apologies to foreigners on behalf of the U.S., the New Jersey and Virginia election results, and many more.

Perhaps you Freepers can think of a few more noteworthy omissions which further illustrate MSM bias.

The dithering over troop levels in Afghanistan.

The protracted Health Care battle that was supposed to be over by August.

The bizarre trip to Copenhagen to shill for Chicago in the Olympics selection process.

The dismissal of the US position on Iran by Russia.

The total failure of the climate summit.

etc., etc.

How about the President opening his big yap about police matters beyond his ken, then his lame attempts to back-pedal over beers at the White House?

THE WEAK? Tumultuous? In a relatively benign sentence, that is the word they use to set the tone of the article.

I would say innaugurating another President is so, Yawn, every 4 years. And Tiger? Next time, don’t leave the toilet down.

Other than that Good Gawd, Brothah, Give me a Break.

Wasn’t the Health Care battle also suppose to over by Thanksgiving? Guess that Turkey didn’t fly.

Wasn’t the Health Care battle once again to done and over with, delivered to Barry O., who wouldn’t go on vacation until it was signed by him, by Christmas? Did he enjoy the lump of coal in his stocking?

Happy New Year everyone comes back on January 4 and all attention focused on defeating this monstrosity.

Well, that's an epic fail right off the bat. I wonder if the libs really believe that we conservatives would love this guy if his dad had been Swedish instead of Kenyan. "Well, we've got double digit unemployment and we're 12 trillion in debt and headed for 14 trillion, but darn it, he's a white boy so I ain't worried." Yeah, suuuuurrrrre.

Every day is a new low in depravity & atrocities & destruction of our formerly great USA, with that socialist-fascist-commie pig 0bozo the usurper, masquerading as our pres___ent. Oh and BTW, I just read an incredible nauseating article by AP, about "how tired the president is, with all those exhausting decisions to make, etc, etc, barf, barf, bard". Funny.....the libturds & MSM never gave Bush so much as a smidgeon of empathy or understanding during his time in office.

I alternate between hating the media more or hating 0bozo more, every day. 0bozo usually wins hands down, 9 out of 10 days!!!
