Imagine if George W. Bush was Bodysurfing...
...when an airline terror plot almost succeeded in killing 300 inside the U.S. on Christmas Day. Imagine then if his Homeland Security Secretary, in a bizarrely self-congratulatory mode, said that "everything happened that should have" to thwart the attack. A man who never should have been allowed anywhere near the U.S. managed to hang on to a multiple entry visa and nearly carry out the worst attack in our nation since 9/11. This is a total outrage and isn't surprising given this Administrations rebranding the war on terror "overseas contingency operations." As I have been saying all along, Team Obama is woefully unprepared to handle what our country is facing. Now their incompetence is not only hurting the free market, it is endangering the lives of the American people. Hmm...maybe Desiree Rogers will come out of hiding to save the Obama brand from yet another embarrassment.

Hillary said obama was unprepared to get that call at 3 AM. It appears he’s unprepared to get that call at any time.

I’ll never forget how Bush tried to do his job on 9/11, and wanted to be visible and on the ground during that time, but national security protocol being what it is for the CIC, he had to keep moving until a safe place could be found. I think he ended up in Louisiana at Ft. Polk.
He stayed at the elementary school as long as he could, until SS made him leave. He watched the news from an empty classroom. He wanted to see and be seen, to comfort us, and make decisions. They kept him moving, but he was always in communication, giving orders, staying informed, knew what was going on every minute. He took his job seriously.
How the press howled and maligned him! He was called a coward, ignorant, inept, bumbling, rudderless...... The public and printed displays of intellectual dishonesty were astounding from the press and the media.
Say what you want to about Bush’s actions over the entire 8 years........I never ONCE doubted his loyalty to this nation.
I cannot say that about our current president. I honestly think he’s in this for the kicks, and doesn’t give a damn about anything else.

More like, I don't doubt, he has no loyalty to this country.
I can think of alot of reasons to disrespect Bush, but loyalty to the US was NOT one of them. Sorry you feel that way. My disagreements with him were never enough for me to question if he cared.
Can’t remember for sure who already stated that he’s a laughing stock abroad (specifically in Arab countries) for his willy-nilly responses to “modifications” in air travel to keep the country safe. America’s descent sponsored by Hussein and his own Baghdad Bob(s).
