Candidates face ultimatum: Kill Obamacare, or else

Tea-party leaders are delivering a bold ultimatum to all congressional candidates in 2010: Pledge to repeal the health-care reform bill in its entirety if it passes – or you will be booted from office.

FreedomWorks Press Secretary Adam Brandon told WND the message couldn't be any clearer. Asked whether he believes the tea party movement will seek to oust politicians who refuse to repeal the legislation, he emphatically declared, "Absolutely."

Max Pappas, vice president of FreedomWorks, echoed Brandon's statements in an interview with Gary Sargent, Washington blogger for the Plum Line, this week.

"This has an unusual ability to be repealed, and the public is on that side." he said. "The Republicans are going to have to prove that they are worthy of their votes."

Both Brandon and Pappas emphasized that Congress must try to repeal the whole bill if it passes.

That’s also going to be my criteria for a 2012 presidential nominee.

""This has an unusual ability to be repealed..."

Yeah....Sure...

Where have I heard that, or any similar, song before?

The list is too long to regurgitate now. Particularly when the batting average is zero or close to it!

My criteria for 2012, ABO (anybody but obama). My criteria for 2010 … anybody that votes against for Obamacare. Simple but concise.

Agreed. The ENTIRE bill has to be put in the shredder.

If any part is passed, even one sentence is passed, it will be be built upon in the future into another GIGANTIC entitlement program.

It’s not *just* Obamacare. We’ve reached the point where our elected representatives vote however they damn please, whether it’s to satisfy the corrupt unions that told their members how to vote, criminal organizations like ACORN that stole enough votes for them to win, wealthy anti-American manipulators like George Soros who want to undermine and subvert this country, or simply to line their own pockets (and freezers) with ill-gotten cash. Supporting wrong-headed anti-business socialistic legislation like Obamacare is just one symptom of a much more serious disease. It is imperative that we reject those who care more about what their Party bosses or special interests think than the people who they are supposed to represent.

They must, once again, work for US!

No matter how they vote on ObamaCare just throw their hineys out of office next election anyway. They’ve scroogied the pooch far too long and it’s time the pooch turns the bark into a bite!

Rostenkowski was almost ran out of town for supporting Medicare cuts, and the bill was repealed the very next year.

Worth the repost and read.

This is such and easy clarion call.

Let’s see if the GOP can get back on track. It should be like taking candy from a baby.

I’ll be in DC [again] on 4/15.

But forget this respectful crap.

Yes, we must, and we can, disrupt the city severely.

They tell us we can’t have permits, too bloody bad. We don’t need anyone’s permission to go to DC and DEMAND a redress of our grievances.

The Constitution does not say that we must respectfully request an audience with our “betters”, and it damn sure doesn’t say we have to ask their permission.

If the same number of us show up on Thursday 4/15 as did on 9/12, we will cause the city some real grief.

These people understand only fear, and we must make them fear us.

Yep - let them arrest all of us! And you are correct - forget being respectful (except to police and military). Because Congress (the vast majority) have earned absolutely no respect. They are just a bunch of corrupt sleazebags.

Every single SOB that voted yea to this unconstitutional piece of socialistic sh*t ought to be arrested for treason and when convicted dealt with accordingly.

The time of slumber is over. Americans are awakening at last.

The tyrant never sleeps. The tyrant is hard at work 24/7.

I've said this over and over to so many people:

Voting isn't the end of the process, it's the beginning.

It looks like its finally coming to fruition.

Spot on, chap! The civil rights hooligans and the anti-war hooligans never bothered with permits. Its only law abiding tax paying fools that worry about permits.
