President Obama said Tuesday that a "mix of human and systemic failures" allowed a Nigerian student allegedly carrying explosives to board an airplane en route to Detroit on Christmas Day, and he vowed to quickly fix flaws that could have doomed a flight carrying nearly 300 passengers and crew members.
The president and his top advisers now believe there is "some linkage" with al-Qaeda, and the administration is "increasingly confident" that the terrorist group worked with suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to secure the deadly chemical mixture that he took aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253, a senior administration official said Tuesday.
White House officials also said the government had intelligence suggesting a possible attack on the United States by al-Qaeda around Christmas, although the reports were not specific.

Obama said the Arkansas military recruiting center, Foot Hood military base and Detroit Metro airport terrorist attacks were isolated incidents but now believes there may be “some linkage” with al-Qaeda! Ya think? Maybe Obama didn’t call any of the incidents an actual terrorist attack since he will try these unlawful combatants in civilian courts where they can lawyer up. Each is connected with Yemen and each should be treated to a permanent Guantanamo vacation. Oh yeah, in private practice, Attorney General and senior staff battled to release the prisoners of GITMO pro bono.
What is Obama going to do? Is Obama going to beg the Muslim world to play nice with yet another sell out speech to the Muslim world?
This man is going to get thousands killed. Did Obama actually think a few words of we are wimps now with me in office and oh we are so sorry for being Americans would work? A Jihad has been declared and either we win or they win that is how this works folks.

Who wants to fly right now? In Nov. we had a 5 hr delay, missed our next flight, and that was with no terrorism involved.
Two years ago, my mother was thoroughly searched by security at Newark Airport. She has Parkinsons, can’t walk, and is in a wheelchair.

The “systemic” failure is also known as “The Obama Administration”.
Zero will only DESTROY the economy beyond repair. He will then eat up America like a carcass.
Obama has no intention of “fixing” ANYTHING!
He wants America to fall!
Having a bill or policy with a nice bumpersticker title on it, only masks the underlying details designed to destroy;

Can’t help but wonder... How did the “system” work in preventing terrorist attacks the last 6-7 years?
