But he wasn’t supposed to, the press hawked Gov. Bush like a two dollar watch, sprung their little October surprise, and he WON.... they wuz robbed. That’s partly why he was, along with Nixon (Hiss & Vietnam) , more hated than any other presidents in recent memory.

Yep... Even the Miami Herald, not noted for it's conservative bent, went through all the voting in 2000 and concluded President Bush had indeed won the election in Florida.
