Gallup: Clinton narrowly beats Palin as 'most admired woman' (Sarah wins GOP, ties on Independents)
The Christian Science Monitor ^ | December 30, 2009 | Linda Feldmann

They’re both steely, gutsy women, admired by some and loathed by others. And when the Gallup poll asked Americans to name, without prompting, which woman they admire most, Hillary Rodham Clinton beat Sarah Palin – barely.

Mrs. Clinton won “most admired woman” for the 14th time since 1993, the year she became first lady, and has continued to win most of the time as a New York senator and now Secretary of State. She took the prize with 16 percent. Former Alaska Governor Palin, who debuted on the Top 10 list last year at No. 2, came in second again with 15 percent, four points higher than last year. Clinton lost four points off her 2008 total of 20 percent.

President Obama won “most admired man” going away, with 30 percent, in results released by Gallup on Wednesday. Former President George W. Bush came in a distant second, with 4 percent. Last year, Mr. Obama beat Mr. Bush 32 percent to 5 percent.

On both lists, partisan leanings mattered. Obama won among Democrats and independents, but Bush beat him among Republicans. The women’s list is just as polarized: Clinton won among Democrats with 28 percent, followed by Michelle Obama (14 percent), Oprah Winfrey (13), Maya Angelou (2), and Sonia Sotomayor (2).

Among independents, Palin and Clinton tied with 14 percent, followed by Ms. Winfrey (8), Mrs. Obama (3), and Queen Elizabeth II (3). Among Republicans, Palin rules with 34 percent, followed by Clinton (6), Winfrey (4), Condeleezza Rice (3), and Obama (2).(continued)

I think she would have a great chance of beating Hillary. A lot of the pro Hillary sites adore Sarah, but if they had to choose between Sarah and Hillary they either choose Hillary(because they consider 2012 her final chance at running) or they want a Clinton/Palin ticket(Which will NEVER happen)

I bet Michelle O was furious she didn’t win. After all, she’s the most beautiful first lady since Jackie O. Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles were the judges.

According to this result it’s because a small percentage of Republican voters said Hillary while no Dems said Sarah. Which means the liberal Republicans in the party are the reason.

You’re right, and consider this: Hitlery will be tied too closely with 0bama by then. Anyone associated with 0bama will be considered “poison”.

Plus, Hitlery will continue to be exposed as a fake and opportunist.

Sarah Palin is REAL!

Yeah that is why I think Hillary made a HUGE mistake by joining his administration. She is tarnished now(even more now then before) now whoever runs against her(If she chooses to run) can bring up every single crappy thing Obama has done. Sarah will kick her butt in the election. Then libs will jump off buildings, it will be just AWESOME!!

The questions we should be asking...

Who did they poll

When did they poll

Where did they poll

What time of day did they poll

Hitlery’s power is the most important thing to her. That’s why she is so dangerous ... her power is more important than what’s right and best for the country.

Sarah Palin loves and cherishes America. There is a huge difference.

Remember a few months ago when Hitlery said she would enjoy having coffee with Sarah Palin? Hitlery knew then that Sarah was a threat.

I will add this: Hitlery already regrets being a part of this ugly, evil Administration!

Of course. Hillary is a huge fraud, most people know that. Sarah is real, which is why she is a threat. I don’t believe for a second hillary will meet up for coffee with Sarah, will never happen. If it did I would be shocked.
