His fellow Democrats had been thinking about the moment even longer - since the September day in 2001 when attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon defined George W. Bush’s presidency and gave Republicans a decisive advantage on a defining political issue.
And yet the White House’s response to last week’s attempt to blow up a Northwest Airlines flight to Detroit could rank as one of the low points of the new president’s first year. Over the course of five days, Obama’s Obama’ reaction ranged from low-keyed to reassuring to, finally, a vow to find out what went wrong. The episode was a baffling, unforced error in presidential symbolism, hardly a small part of the presidency, and the moment at which yet another of the old political maxims that Obama had sought to transcend – the Democrats’ vulnerability on national security – reasserted itself.

They should get down on their knees and thank-God that Bush spent 7 years trying to make sure this country was safe because at least we got a warning of what is to come! Bush didn’t get that instead he got 8 years of Clinton calling terrorist attacks “crimes” and we got hit hard on 9/11 because of it!

They keep saying how they love diversity so lets give it to them .
What they would either leave or fight this because they don’t want that, but but but they said they love diversity.
Maybe they could move into a ghetto seeing as they love all these people who don’t speak the language, have different traditions and want to open mosques right next door to them

Bam cannot be happy about this, it exposes his naivete, he loses popularity and takes his eye off the social restructuring initiatives.
As they will attempt to just sweep it under the rug and treat it like a crime, we are setting ourselves up for a real bad attack.

The liberal TV newsmedia will not let the GOP message get through. Sports TV programming keeps the networks alive so everyone keep watching midless ball games while you lose your country. TV enslaves Americans and free people.

The bias from Politico oozes from how matter-of-factly they report the "lack" of Republican credibility on fighting terrorism, as if they wished everyone to believe this to be the case.

It’s interesting that we did not have an incident such as the crotch bomber on Bush’s watch. He made sure these guys were nabbed before they had a chance to get anywhere.
So here we have the Obummer admin. that terrorizes the CIA, and is too busy being suspitious of conservatives, former service members, pro-lifers, lawful gun owners, free marketers, etc... And we have two terrorist incidents less than 6 mos. apart within the first year.
Sounds like epic fail to me, but then again I heard much of the same liberal crap back in the 70s and it didn’t work then either.
