A Senate win for Republican Scott Brown from MA is a win for the entire country!
Boston Conservative Independent Examiner ^ | January 3, 2010 | Kimberly Morin

In case you haven’t heard, there is a special election in Massachusetts on January 19th to fill the late Ted Kennedy’s seat. While many of you may not really think much about a Senate race in Mass., this race will affect each of us on a national level. If Republican Scott Brown wins the seat he will be the 41st vote in the Senate that is against the Health Care Bill not to mention Cap & Trade. He will stop the Democrats from their 60 vote majority and therefore aid in stopping the insanity that has been continually passed in the most partisan fashion we’ve seen in years in Congress.

Brown’s opponent is Democrat Martha Coakley, the current Attorney General for the state. Coakley is a typical liberal cookie cutout. She will vote along party lines like the majority of them do and she will not care about what her constituents want nor what is best for them or the country. Reid would love to have Coakley in the seat because he could count on her to just step right into place (he wouldn’t even have to ‘buy’ her vote as he did with some of the Blue Dog Democrats). As much as many Conservatives didn’t like Kennedy because of his ideology, he was much better than Coakley could ever even try to be because he did work across the aisle. She is not a good Democratic candidate to replace Kennedy.

You can learn more about Scott Brown by visiting his website: www.brownforussenate.com. You can also donate, volunteer and make phone calls even if you are not in Massachusetts. There is also a site called the ‘Brown Brigade’ that supports Scott Brown: www.brownbrigade.ning.com. The support from people all over the country and even the world for Scott Brown on both Twitter and Facebook is overwhelming. Coakley is practically invisible on Twitter. There is also a little known Independent candidate, Joe Kennedy (not related to ‘the’ Kennedys) who also does not have much support. Coakley is so arrogant that she refused to participate in many debates with her fellow Democrats during the primaries (not even to women’s groups). Coakley is so arrogant that she refuses to debate Brown one on one because she knows that Kennedy is simply a distraction. You can view Coakley’s site here: www.marthacoakley.com and Joe Kennedy’s here: www.joekennedyforsenate.com.

If you live in Massachusetts, remember to vote on January 19, 2010 – rain, sleet or snow! This is already an historic race as Coakley could be the first woman from Mass. in the Senate and Brown is a Republican vying for Kennedy’s seat that was Democratic for decades. The last thing this state needs is a Senator who would actually be worse than Senator Kerry. The last thing this country needs is another liberal Democrat in Congress who will just vote whatever way Reid tells her. Support and a vote for Scott Brown could help kill the outrageous Health Care Bill and the ever looming Cap & Trade Bill, both of which he is against. The time for action is now! A win for Scott Brown is not only a win for the people of Massachusetts but a win for the entire country!

I hope he wins. That being said, this was troubling to me.

“In Massachusetts, I support the 2006 healthcare law that was successful in expanding coverage, but I also recognize that the state must now turn its attention to controlling costs.”

RomneyCare... good grief.

I don't have to be emotionally invested to raise hell.

The fact that there's virtually ~0~ statewide MSM publicity guarantees that the Dem. turnout --- always low on a "Special Election"--- will be miniscule.

It sets up a favorable situation for activated, energized conservatives (independents and GOP's), flying under the radar, to win--- actually win --- on a very small vote.

How come it wasn’t “historic” when MA elected a Black senator?

Only black liberals count to the state run media.

Hard to believe that Sen.Edward Brooke is 90 years old.

Not hard to believe that Barbara Walters blabbed about her affair with the then-married Brooke.

Is the RNC doing anything for him? I’ve seen no evidence...if I was Michael Steele, I’d be all over this..just get on the airwaves at a minimum!!!!

The RNC can not be relied upon. Or trusted, for the most part.

New England as a whole can drop off into the ocean. Mass. liberals are another genus all their own, obnoxious, ignorant and oblivious... the holy trinity of a pliant and gullible populace. At least New Yorkers can only claim obnoxious.

I made a contribution to Scott Brown. I cannot vote in Massachusetts so it's the best I can do.

If you can please make a contribution and tell all your friends and relatives to make a contribution.

Election January 19
Ted Kennedy’s Massachusetts Senate Seat
Goes Republican!!

Can we imagine 41 votes on the Republican side, which means filibuster, which means No cloture, which means No ObamaCare, ObamaDontCare, ReidPelosiCare, or WhatevertheHellCare they call it?

Imagine!

Scott Brown!

Do Something About It!

(If I pinged you before, please forgive me: I'm trying to get good coverage for this very hopeful--- and significant --- challenger.)

From Scott Brown’s campaign office:

"Scott is a conservative. In fact, he will be the most conservative Senator elected from MA since . . . Senator John F. Kennedy, who nowadays would be denounced by liberals as "a dangerous right-winger." JFK loved our country, and he knew that in a recession you don't raise taxes -- instead, you cut them. And as a man with chronic ailments, JFK had no desire to our health system into one resembling Bulgaria's.

"Scott Brown is committed to voting to repeal the health care monstrosity Reid and Pelosi are busy hatching. He's against the Cap-and-Tax legislation. He's in favor of reducing our taxes. And, unlike Obama, he's not afraid to use the phrase "war on terror."

"You may ask . . . What about Scott's opponent, one Martha Coakley? She's another one of those Massachusetts liberals (think: John Kerry) whose ambitions are as unlimited as her talents are nonexistent. As a member of the Massachusetts legal community, she specialized in ferocious prosecutions of people who were clearly innocent."

Do Something About It!

I just made campaign calls from home. It is easy to do and you don’t have to be a Massachusetts resident (though I am). PM me if you would like to learn how to do it. You do not ask for money! It is fun to talk to people who are voting for him- which has been the majority of my calls, and I have done it 4 different times.

I wish I could feel opptimistic. However, as Mass elections are more corrupt than even my WA state, I am not holding my breath for a GOP win.
