Big words and hopefully they will be realized. But we are no longer a sleeping giant as we were on December 7, 1941, we are the fractured giant as we were on September 11, 2001. The ideals of diversity and multiculturalism that are being enforced have given this country a death blow. Unity is no longer a condition to be strived for. We all want to do our “own thing”.
Whereas the immigrants of early 1900s became part of the Greatest Generation, what has entered after the 70s are mostly uninterested in American culture but instead try to replace it with the culture they left behind. In fact, many immigrants that arrived after 1970 are members of a group whose stated intention is to “change” this country and who have become a deadly menace to its very existence.

You lost me again by using McCain for the final comment. Even though his thought was excellent, he is not our standard bearer. And conservatives did not elect them. Most of us knew what a horror show this was going to become and we were right.
Needs work.
