Why would Romney run? He has zero chance and would only be throwing away loads of money.

Romney, your “possibility” will be without my vote. Just become a dim-bulb-crat and get it over with.

Just serving notice to any who listens that RINO Romney WILL NOT get my vote under any circumstance. End of discussion.

Romney makes a great pinata, but I agree with you. Personally, I hope he runs, splits the RINO vote and lets Sarah skate past them all.

He would be doing conservatives a favor.

Hey, ya never know -- maybe he will, and mount a primary challenge against Zero.

Romney, hated here on FR, would have been slightly less evil...

I refuse to engage in Romney bashing.

His health care plan obviously has problems in Massachusetts. Fine. But such a plan—using the state as a “laboratory” is consistent with the vision of the Founding Fathers. Let the various states work on their own problems. If they work, others can imitate it. If they fail, others won’t.

I do think it is a problem if Mitt doesn’t acknowledge those problems or promote solutions...but that is a separate gig.

A Romney nomination guarantees another 4 years of Obama. Romney, Huck, McCain all need to take a flying leap and stop tainting our primaries.

I like Palin more, but Romney is a good man and a viable and likeable candidate.

[This country needs a businessman at this time to fix/manage/work with business and the economy.]

A Republican who was for car bailouts, socialist healthcare and abortions. Yup, that’s all we need to turn back the tide.

Anyone would be better than BO, but Romney would have been pushing a lighter Socialist agenda, and conservatives would end up taking the blame for its disastrous results. Plus, he might have gotten more bad legislation passed, as Republicans would not object as much to one of their own. In the long run, a Romney presidency might have done even more damage than an Obama presidency.

At least with McCain, you pretty much know what to expect. Strong on security, fairly strong on spending, fairly strong on social issues, weak on illegal immigration and “climate change”, clueless on bailouts.

Romney has no discernable principles at all. He was a passionate Liberal in Massachussets and suddenly began feigning a similar passion of conservatism a few years ago, though he continues to defend his Socialist, RomneyCare, which is very similar to ObamaCare, with its mandate that all residents purchase health insurance.

You mean a businesman whose HealthCare plan is bankrupting one of his several former home states...

Yeah, that is what we need...

I have no prob with him running. Sarah will need cover. For example, if she is the clear front runner from the start of the primaries and has virtually no serious challengers, she will take way too much heat. Someone like Romney, who can’t win the nomination imho, can provide some cover and divert a little attention. Romney will make her look even more genuine and will also be the author of filthy attacks against her, garnering her som sympathy.

Palin/Pawlenty 2012.
