"The cost of illegal immigration has exhausted the Arizona State Treasury. In order to pay for the federal government's responsibility of securing our national borders and incarcerating individuals who enter the United States illegally and commit crimes, the state has incurred hundreds of millions of dollars of debt to pay these bills," said Treasurer Dean Martin.

Feds don’t care. We sued (CA) under Wilson to get our money from the fed’s and they said nope. We passed 187 that Davis shelved -

As Governor, Janet Napolitano in her March 17, 2008 invoice said, "the federal government is required by law to pay these costs, but has failed to pay more than pennies on the dollar."

How about that, Ms. Incompitano?

It will be pocket change compared to states’ unfunded health care liabilities under the ‘deficit neutral’ plan currently being crafted in DC.

"Comments temporarily disabled"!!

The Arizona budget deficit is $1.5 billion. Arizona spends $1.3 billion a year providing benefits to illegals, educating them, and incarcerating them. And that's not counting the anchor babies.

Okay Arizona how about this.

Chain all of your illegals together by feet and ankles in chains 30 prisoners long. Form these rows four ranks wide, and chain the front and rear rank together.

Make as many of these groups as it takes.

March them all, guarded by men with shotguns and tasers 30 miles a day.

When you arrive in D.C with these thousands of illegals, padlock each group to a tree, and leave all the keys on the capitol steps.

Well then the people of Arizona need to take the initiative, throw illegals out of the state, refuse to offer free medical care, imprison employers who have illegals on the payroll, etc.

I’m all for this idea. And I know Arpaio would offer up a few people to help do it.

Solution: DON'T DO IT ANYMORE!!

Have all incarcerated illegals put on a chain gang to help build a double-layer AZ border fence using AZ companies, AZ engineers, and AZ-sourced materials. Once completed, begin deporting ALL illegals back home.

Love the idea! It would be priceless to see the faces of the Feds with all those illegals chained up in Washington.

Too bad you are not running for Senate.....
