The only result of continuing to subject every passenger to this charade will be the demise of air travel and tourism in this and most other countries.
The solution is to let airlines handle security and let the public select with who they fly based on the safety record.
Personally I would fly with the airline that came up with a reasonable profile of a terrorist and applied appropriate security to this type.
I concur. TSA made my wife send my 6 year old through the scanner first, he ran and they would not let my wife go get him as he ran away in the terminal. She insisted that she go first but the lackies would have none of it. After the event they told us that we might not make the flight due to the "incident" and we would have to fill out some paperwork.
