EDITORIAL: Letting crooks & illegals vote--Democrats plan to manipulate elections with univ reg..

Democrats have a political death wish. At least that's how it looks. There's no other explanation for their feverish push to take over the health care system when a huge majority of Americans are opposed to the plan. But facing an angry public, Democrats are scheming to find ways to manipulate the electoral process so they can cling to power even when voters want to kick the bums out.

Sen. Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat, and Rep. Barney Frank, Massachusetts Democrat, have plans to ram through legislation that will produce universal voter registration. No matter what they claim, the rule changes will make it possible for illegal aliens to register to vote and for others to register multiple times.

The proposal is to register everyone on every welfare list, everyone getting unemployment insurance, everyone with a driver's license, everyone who has had run-ins with the legal system, everyone owning any property - basically everyone on every list the government keeps. People will be registered to vote whether or not they want to be registered. If individuals are on any public record, they will be automatically registered.

Obviously a lot of illegal aliens have driver's licenses, and many get other government benefits. Quite a few have rap sheets...

The absolute most distressing thing to me is they keep being reelected and that reflects very poorly on the electorate.

Federal gov't is so savvy getting checks to the dead, cartoon characters, etc.

How will they keep check of such a list for duplicates, the dead, etc.

They could not even handle the "Watch List" and "No Fly" list re: Fruit of the Loom Bomber.

I think one list was around 500,000. Numbers aside, what makes anyone think there will be a legal list. Wait for ACORN to get hold of it.

It would be utter confusion and no way could it be overseen properly, but then that’s exactly what the Dems are after.

Tie concealed carry to the same lists, voting rights, second amendment rights, put them together since the liberals are being so protective of our rights.

Two of the same assholes that are going to require every American to spend thousands of dollars a year on private health insurance are the same ones who bitched that having to obtain a FREE picture ID to vote was financial disenfranchishment

It’s past time. If I witness the level of fraud in upcoming elections that I did when I participated in Rush Limbaugh’s Operation Chaos by voting for Hillary in the primary, I will lose it. Woe be to any fraudsters who commit their crimes in front of me. I’ll stop it with or without force, whichever works.

How will they know what party to automatically register them as?

Isn't registering or not registering a personal choice?

As far as I know registering has always been a personal choice but it looks like the Rats want to change that.

I imagine if it’s passed the voter would be able to vote either party. It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with for primaries.
