And such thinking has fed into the "living constitution" idea which dominates Far Left thinking and threatens the very liberty of America and Americans. Dr. Walter Berns' essay, as reprinted in "Our Ageless Constitution," entitled, "Do We Have a Living Constitution?" explains the Founders' ideas for their Constitution's protections for liberty as opposed to the counterfeit ideas of those who wish to use "legal fictions" to enlarge government power and diminish liberty for people.
