Freepers really need to give this a rest, there are more important things to obsess over. Agreed, with a couple of caveats: 1) that Simpson is qualified for the post; and 2) that "being transgendered" was not part of the criteria by which she was chosen.
Given her background, she's probably technically qualified; however, I'm a bit concerned about the second one.
