While this is a study and scary didn’t I read that obama created a civilian security force housed in the DOD but not one of the armed forces brances so it does not come under posse cimmitatus?
This was a detailed executive order that would have used some DOD people and even retired DOD people.
I swear I read the EO last fall but can’t find it.

That means rounding up the leaders of the opposition BEFORE the fighting breaks out. This is to help make sure that the opposition is as disorganized and leaderless as possible. It might also mean shutting down radio, phone and internet access to the area.
Of course the government would be the one instigating such a conflict in this case, blaming it on the radical right no doubt.

The uniforms might as well have big ole cartoon targets on their bscks. In today’s political climate, I truly believe that this would cause real blood shed in the streets, and any open member of this type of force would become fair game to a large portion of American patriots.
I am condoning this, although I do not relish the thought of it happening.
The “elites” need to understand that this isn’t going to help them. We are a nation of 300 million. The people in the government can be changed, the government itself can be changed, but those 300 million people aren’t going anywhere.
What would a small riot police force do if 300 million people calmly and rationally decided we wanted to change leadership and ignored our current leaders in favor of a new government?

We are not a group of 300 million. We are split up in many groups with many competing interests. If the government only permits 20 or 30% to receive adequate food heat shelter, then you have a tyranny. And it would be easy for the government to deprive us.

And in the Edward M Kennedy Memorial Bill passed last July, there are to be training camps to be set up around the USA for training yoot 18-26 to do “community work”.

Interesting. I knew someone who worked at rand during the 80’s TOp secret clearance. Wordprocessed or something like that. Said that all the papers she was involved with were about how to torture.

Many of us are not eligible to join Oathkeepers, which is for active and retired military and police.
It's a good suggestion for those who are, but probably ignores 2/3 of the people on Free Republic and 7/8 of the total citizenry.
