I guess God couldnt think of any other way to get rid of the damned place ... What a stupid and outrageous statement at a time like this. You are human trash not worthy to be dumped in that "damned place..." as you call it.

We already know of one death in my wife’s family, a doctor who ran a children’s clinic in Port au Prince. There are many more we need to hear from.

Sincere condolences to your wife.
Not to diminish anyone's life, but losing any Doctor in Port au Prince at this time is simply awful.

Sorry to hear that the disaster has hit so close to home... and someone who has made a difference and could have done so much more. What a loss...

Been watching this since it broke and have to say Fox has really dropped the ball on covering this story. First time I've watched CNN in a long long time....My stupid lib FoxNews hater brother-in-Law would be so proud.

I also watched CNN’s coverage of the airplane bombing on Christmas weekend. Fox kept re-running O’Reilly.

CNN's Anderson Cooper is going down there in a couple of hours.
Maybe Geraldo will set sail and rescue a few people, media whore that he is.

I just heard Anderson Cooper say he’s going. I doubt if the airlines are flying there. Maybe a private jet...

I remember when he offered like 25K to central Italy after their earthquake last year.
I think Madonna contributed more than that.

By the way, hasn't almost 12 hours passed already? Where is the aid? Where are the emergency personnel? Where are the ships with water purification capabilities. Where are the doctors, nurses, firefighters, etc.? There's no infrastructure. Heck, there's barely a functional government.
I think the relief efforts are going to wait another 24 hours before helping. Where are they going to go to when everywhere is basically an overturned dumpster?

How much money have we poured into Haiti over the decades?
BILLIONS ?
Every Caribbean island is a basket case, read their literature, the politico-academics all blame the US and Europeans,it’s just another Zimbabwe basket case
why is it that ONLY the US respond to save them, where are the Europeans, the French ,the commies, Cuba,China, Chavez? .
Expect hundreds of thousands of Haitians moving here to the US mainland, bringing their thug brutality and drugs .

PORT-AU-PRINCE is about 10 times as populous as pre-Katrina New Orleans, without a fraction of local disaster relief. There will be huge numbers of killed, injured, and destitute people.
Apparently this is the biggest earthquake in the Caribbean area since the one that destroyed Port Royal, Jamaica.
