NEW HAMPSHIRE ELECTION CENTRAL

If we are going to make a difference in the upcoming election, we need to KNOW the candidates. Please post the names of ALL your Congressional candidates on this thread along with any and all information available.

We need names, positions, platforms, news articles, statements, pictures. We need to separate the RINOS from the Conservatives, and most of all, we need to get the liberals of either party OUT!

We can do this if you help. I have started this thread. All you have to do is contribute a little time and a little research. Help us help this country, and between us, we WILL take our country back!

Let's Do It!!!

TOPICS: Free Republic; Government; Politics/Elections; US: New Hampshire
KEYWORDS: candidates; election; newhampshire; nh2010; politics
Please ping your lists.

Let's DO it!!!

Thanks.

Great news in the Mass Senate race this morning:

Poll shocker: Scott Brown surges ahead in Senate race.

Brown is leading in EVERY catagory in the poll except women.
He is leading in EVERY county except Suffolk.

Those are pretty amazing numbers for a relatively-unknown Republican in Massachusetts. Suffolk County is a lost cause for any Republican, no matter how popular, containing as it does the neighborhoods of Allston and Brighton (young college students living in overpriced, squalid apartments on daddy's dime) as well as Dorchester, JP, Mattapan, and Roxbury (where you could light off a neutron bomb and not a single Republican voter would be harmed). Of course, there's also Southie, where I'll bet Scott will pick up a good number of votes, but not enough to make up the difference.

The women's vote is undoubtedly tough for any Republican in the Bay State owning to a few enclaves in the western part of the state (Northhampton and Amherst for example), largely populated by females in plaid shirts and work boots with lots of turquoise and silver rings, if you get my drift.

At some point we’re going to have to get some polling data on the House/Senate races, as well as the major state offices.

I am becoming more optimistic everyday.
These negative ads that the Dems have put out in the last few days I beleive are backfiring on them. Also, this Dem thug pushing down the reporter in Washington the other night was a GODSEND, especially because it was caught on video and then posted on UTUBE. Then Coakley denided knowing what had happened even though the pictures showed her witnessing the whole thing.

It reminds me of the imfamous line: “Revenge is dish best served cold.”

Back when I studied politics as an avocation (some 30+ years ago), one of the rules was: “never go negative when the people already dislike your guy more than his opponent”. Coakley is not exactly beloved, to say the least, nor does she exude anything on the campaign trail approaching genuine warmth and charm. The words “cold fish” come to mind, as do others less suitable for a family-friendly web site.

Obama visit to NH on heels of budget release

February 1, 7:45 AMManchester Democrat ExaminerPaul Briand
President Barack Obama visits Nashua tomorrow on the heels of release of his $3.83 trillion budget.

The budget contains bread and butter issues for Main Street, America, that Obama touted in his State of the Union address last Wednesday — jobs creation, bolstering small business, help with college tuition and a three-year freeze on some spending.

Those middle-class themes will serve as the foundation for the speech Obama is likely to make when he visits Nashua North High School at 10 Chuck Druding Drive. The town hall style meeting is scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Registration for tickets closed Saturday evening.

Paul Hodes’ Senate campaign is offering three tickets to supporters who have joined his mobile network. That deadline to get a chance is 5 p.m. today.

Hodes is the Democrat congressman from the state’s Second Congressional District who is seeking to succeed Republican Judd Gregg in the U.S. Senate.

Obama will fly into and out of the Boston-Manchester Regional Airport, using the Wiggin Airways portion of the airport.

The schedule has him flying in by 12:45 p.m. and leaving by 4:05 p.m.

The Granite State Democratic elite are expected at the Obama event to rally the party’s 2010 election efforts.
