Wednesday January 13th the Oregon PTA in Columbus Elementary School in McMinnville decided to circumvent the law and the authority of the Principle of their school. They printed out flyers which were then distributed to each teacher and classroom, and put into the Wednesday folders for students to take home. These flyers and their distribution by school staff are a direct violation of Oregon Election laws. All school staff are aware that it is illegal for State employees to advocate for any issue that is up for election. The flyer seen pictured here advocated for a Yes vote on 66 and 67, saying that jobs and salaries of staff were at stake if voters did not do so. The principle stated to concerned parents that she was unaware of the flyers or how they got distributed.

The PTA's clear message in Columbus Elementary was to vote yes for the measures in violation of state election law ORS 260.432.

I believe this needs to be made personal. Just as they did to Bill Seizemore, every individual involved in this illegal act needs to be financially ruined, for their intent to harm Oregon taxpayers to the tune of $900 Million.
There haven’t been any school budgets CUT in Oregon in Decades. Any who claim there have been is lying.
“lying”....BINGO...we have a winner....have you heard this ad to VOTE NO on 66/67? Oregon’s Business Drive-Thru? It’s on Facebook, and I think YouTube....
I know that Jeff Krupp knows about it and AFP is taking up the issue, and I know its been sent to Lars Larson, so I am hoping that this event gets the notice that it should.
