The “fact-finding” board includes Togo West an affirmative action POS who was appointed by Clinton as Sec. of the Army. He also ran Veteran’s Affairs-and was a fatcat lobbyist.
I sort of feel for the officers—if they HAD flagged this scumbag Hasan, it probably would have ended their careers in today’s PC military—so they turned a blind eye—and look what happened.
It probably won’t happen soon-but we need to purge the military of all the affirmative action, PC, horsecrap—get them out of the business of social labaratoty, welfare giver, babysitter, etc. and back to how it was 50 or more years ago. Fat chance of that.
They’ll just feed us feel-good pablum about how the military is “so much better” now than it ever was. Until some lovely vibrant Muslim rolls a grenade into a tent or pulls a Ft. Hood, or some more black Marines gang rape a 10 year old girl on Okinawa again.

Exactly. But it ain't gonna happen - until we are finally driven to the wall and our very national survival is at stake. Even then, it is problematical if it will.
The problem is that deep and pervasive. Hundreds, maybe even thousands, of jihadist murders won't reverse the mindset. Decades of PC Liberalism driven into our culture is now too firmly rooted in the national psyche. This is a mortal threat.
Ralph Peters read the same report - roll a few heads and call it a day.
The report did not address at all why those superiors acted in the way they did. The PC culture in the military that punishes those who demand the same behavior and performance from muslim officers and soldiers as they expect from Christian soldiers.
Apparently, nobody dared give a bad report of a muslim cleric, because they correctly assumed it would be their ass in a sling, not Hasan's.
There career ending reprimands are deserved, but the culture will remain exactly the same.
We are being led by PC-uber-alles gutless cowards at the very top.
I love Ralph Peters. He just really speaks out so forcefully all the time, no hemming and hawing. This one realy lets them have it. When our armed forces become this PC, it is something to concern us all.
Any mil ping lists here that ought to get this?

I agree with all of that, though I have to also say that Bush was part of the problem here. ROPMA.
