Conan O'Brien staffers are furious that they're losing their "Tonight Show" jobs while O'Brien walks away from the fiasco with $30 million, sources tell Page Six.
About 200 of O'Brien's production team, who last year uprooted from New York to Los Angeles for his show, are fuming that they've been overlooked as Conan negotiates his way out of NBC.
"The production team feels betrayed," one source said. "They don't understand why Conan couldn't have just agreed to move the show to 12:05 a.m. and see how things turn out, which would have allowed them all to keep their jobs. But his ego got in the way.

How about jobs rebuilding Haiti with stimulus dollars.
Moved from LA to NY? That’s not what I would call an injury.
NBC employees...who cares?
200?
200?!?
Do they even have 200 people in the White House?
Good God, no wonder these celebrities act like they think they're royalty - it's because they are!!!
Union employees?
I never cared for Conan’s sophomoric humor. Without Andy, he is deadly ;-)
I am sorry if these guys are out of a job. But in the end the goal of the Conan franchise should be to do what is best for the Conan franchise and its fans. Just as the goal of General Motors should have been to do what was best for the shareholders and consumers even if it was not what the unions wanted.
Nope, other way around. From NY to LA.
“Good God, no wonder these celebrities act like they think they’re royalty - it’s because they are!!! “
It is no wonder most celebrities have their head up their arse. They don’t need our reality, because they can buy their own.
I once relocated for an employer that stiffed me majorly once I walked through the front door. I didn’t last 60 days in that job. I ended up taking crappy job for 9 months then left when my apartment lease was up.
Guess what, it happens. I don’t feel bad for these people. They thought they’d be on a 15-20 year gravy train given the expected life span of a Tonight Show host. Now that reality hit they can realize that even the best of situations can be blown apart by the marketplace and incompetent management.
I’m sorry but I really could care less about these network employees.
Blame Jay Leno for wanting the 11:35 to 12:05 slot instead of retiring with dignity.
Hey, that’s show business.
They put your guy’s (and your) show on the air when more people could see it and nobody liked it.
I’ve watched a few minutes of Jimmy Fallon’s show here and there and I think it’s better than Conan’s show. Whatever, I’m not their demographic; I’m a Johnny Carson guy.
Bwahahahaha...
Here's a clue for you --Conan is a 'STAR' and you're a peon. Now shut-up, get me another cup of coffee, and go away ...
If Leno was making money for them, then thats who they want. Its not Lenos fault. Sure he mentioned he wanted to retire and changed his mind..but, they didnt just say oh ok and kept him where he was. They moved him. It didnt work out..and now they want to put him back. Its all about the money.
Soaps are going the same way.
Game shows will flounder, too.
But old movies will never die!!
Leno is the Bret Farve of TV.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. They are probably mad simply because they don’t want to work for Fox. It would violate their Hollywood ideological principles.
Well, I would not call that in injury either. These are the guys who think the country consists entirely of NY and LA.
Before moving across country for their job, these employees should have asked upfront what the terms of their employment would be and related termination compensation.
Plus they shouldn’t complain about Conan too much since he will most likely land a show somewhere and need another 200 people to join him.
