Rush knows the game, I hope that he starts playing it and gets obama’s goat. Someone like Rush can make obama do something that Obama wants to do that he knows is not in his best interest.

he can get Obama to show his true colors and go off the deep end.

This timeline is a joke. There is not much there except a few briefings and phone calls.

So, let’s see, Obama made a couple of five-minute phone calls and had one call from a rep at the end of the day that likely went:

Obama - “How’s it going?”

Rep - “We’re working on it sir.”

Obama - “Okay, thanks. Let me know if anything comes up.”

Now THATS working for a living!

Joe Biden in on TV using his normal hectoring voice, ‘explaining’ why the response has not reached the actual Haitian people sooner.
He is sounding verrrrry defensive!!!

Can anyone say “compared to people in New Orleans in 2005”?

OBAMAO will look like a UN civil servant but not a POTUS.

That’s what he really is!

I will tell you. I usually am in front of the tv when something like this happens.... Not this time. Rush is usually correct. Last week he played a clip from CNN in it the reporters where asking themselves where THEY were sleeping at night. I cannot watch Shep at all anymore.

It will be all about brownie points from the World to Obama on this one.

that Obama would use the earthquake for his political benefit.

As much as I want Haiti to get all the help they need, Obama being involved will not burnish anything in my mind. We are the United states, this is what we do. Obama did not invent American aid to devastated countries as much as he would like everyone to believe.

I had to turn off Obama's speech this morning but parts of ot glorified Clinton for his work during these tough times and I did not hear him say anything good about Bush.

What I saw was clearly one sided for Clinton. Clinton involved on other countries put cash in his pockets. So much so he had to say he would relinquish those contacts so Hillary could take her position.

So, one more thing. Today concerns about the Haitians here gaining legal residency for up to 16 months. Will Obama find a way to allow them to vote? 200,000 Democrat votes. Obama will give them free HC, welfare, food stamps and housing. They will vote democratically.

I sent a heartfelt letter to Red Cross explaining how I had planned to give money to their Haiti fund until I saw their promotional video w/ obam’s lady which made me change my mind and instead give money to Doc. w/out borders!

As we all know, this was to be expected. I heard Biden comparing Haiti and Katrina. What a doofus.

Looks to me like 0bama spent the better part of a day and a half having meetings and talking to people on the phone before he actually DID ANYTHING.

That's some decisive leadership, I tell ya...

This “to the minute time line” for BO is most likely two fold. Bo puts it out there for his media to follow through and they will. He is saying that he has has been on this Haiti thing from the beginning and has not wavered, thus he
could not take time out to help Coakley which is his last plea to the Massachusetts voters and media for help with her election. If she looses (more than likely will) he hopes the media will cover the time line so he does not appear to be a looser, “he was too busy with Haiti” and her loss has nothing to do with his agenda, namely health care, while at the same time he is hoping his numbers will improve. WRONG and WRONG again BO because the American people have been finally paying attention, even those folks in Massachusetts and we don’t like what we are seeing and hearing from you or your administration..

Bottom line (which the media will ignore, but would be playing up if the "D" and "R" were reversed):

After the Indonesian tsunami, Bush had U.S. troops "boots on the ground" inside of two days. In Haiti, under Obama, it took four days, nearly twice as long, and after virtually all those buried in the rubble were already dead.
