Depends on where you were. They have been very aggressive in their expansion efforts the last ten years or so, and it is far away from their traditional constituency. Their efforts now target higher paying, highly skilled fields. It is all about the piece of the action, pulling in $$ to give to democratic socialist parties and candidates, and they make more on $50K workers than $20K workers.
A couple years ago at my company we had two days of training from our HR leadership on how to legally keep them out of our shops and away from our people.
Sounds like a body that's been snatched by aliens, much like the democratic party. Probably can be traced to Soros' pocketbook, as his "ascendency" is roughly coincident. Undoubtedly the story is much more complex and appalling than merely that, though.
