Ok, who here HASN’T had this happen to them?

This story is a journalist’s trifecta: cell phones, SUVs and handguns. All that’s missing are cigarettes.

“I thought you were starting to sing a song.”

No, I was just ripping off Eric Clapton’s song:

“I shot the Whitehouse,
but I didn’t hit the President.”

I imagine after firing his gun inside his vehicle he’ll be using the ‘vibrate’ feature for awhile!

Not trying to be funny, but I DO think about things like this:

If I am faced with a home invader and I use my 12 gauge shotgun in self defense . . . I am supposed to call 911 and report it immediately. After that thing goes off a few times in a 12x14 room, how is one supposed to hear that faint voice on the phone???

Wear a set of electronic hearing protectors. After I tried a set, I use them all the time. Not only do they protect your ears, they give you a tactical advantage by giving you electronically enhance hearing.

But if it was some little .38 purse gun ...

I shot a rat in a galvanized trash can with a .22 and my ears rang for the better part of a day.

The driver may have been a Lurker/Freeper who remembered a suggestion for this situation:
