Business Week ^ | January 18, 2010 | Margaret Carlson

Posted on 01/18/2010 6:31:58 PM PST by icwhatudo

Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) -- If Massachusetts, that bluest of blue states, goes Republican, say goodbye (or good riddance) to health-care reform and any chance that the Democrats will be able to pass much of anything in the Senate. Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold will struggle to overcome a filibuster just to get National Cheese Week proclaimed.

My post was simply meant to stir some chest thumping discussion.

I got it. I just wanted to get in on your side.

Do you mean to tell me that Margaret Carlson is still running around loose? I thought they locked her up in the Nuthouse a long time ago.

HELP SCOTT DEFEAT THE OBAMA SOCK PUPPET

(stole this from another FReeper, but bears repeating)

•People in ANY state can volunteer for the phone bank! http://www.resistnet.com/forum/topics/phone-calls-for-freedom-call-1?commentId=2600775%3AComment%3A1891491&xg_source=activity

•Anyone… Anywhere… Contribute! https://www.icontribute.us/scottbrown

•Live in or near MA? Volunteers still needed at many regional offices. If you can help, please email Laura@brownforussenate.com and she will tell you how.

•If you live in Massachusetts, become an election judge. In Boston they pay $135-$185 and they NEED Republican monitors.

Needed; military and retired law enforcement VFW and police organizations etc to monitor polls- prevent the voter fraud they’re plotting right now. Video tape everything; document everything; prosecute the perpetrators. http://www.cityofboston.gov/news/default.aspx?id=3599

Hey I want Brown to win as much as anybody else but he'll be no standard bearer for the conservative movement. He is what he is, a moderate Republican from a blue state who will be good on security, better than we can expect fiscally from the state of Massachusetts and a social moderate at best.

But he sure beats the hell out of Mookly and the crap stains in the false messaiahs pants are certainly worth the price of admission.

Of course all of you are right. I was just trying to stir some debate with my post. I wish to
illustrate a point that it is very important to look at the large picture than be hung up on any one single issue. And y’all just did that. As governor Haley Barbour said the other day, we want a party of big to defeat democrats over a party of pure and lose.

"The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally — not a 20 percent traitor." - Ronaldus Magnumus Reagan

Brown meets the Reagan 80% rule. Juan McAmnesty who is 100% Democrat does not.

“Feingold’s TOAST too.”

If MA can turn the Marxists away; WI and other states can do the same.

Amen! And Scott Brown meets my rules 97.5%.
I can’t wait till he is declared senator from Massachusetts.

I just want Brown to stop Obamacare and the rest of Obama's agenda.

If he votes the right way on abortion, then he should be supported in 2012 to a term in his own right.
