BOSTON – In an epic upset in liberal Massachusetts, Republican Scott Brown rode a wave of voter anger to defeat Democrat Martha Coakley in a U.S. Senate election Tuesday that left President Barack Obama's health care overhaul in doubt and marred the end of his first year in office.

The loss by the once-favored Coakley for the seat that the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy held for nearly half a century signaled big political problems for the president's party this fall when House, Senate and gubernatorial candidates are on the ballot nationwide.

One more thing . . .

Please visit http://www.seatsenatorbrown.com/ and join the petition drive to make sure that SENATOR BROWN will be able to start working for us immediately. (This is intended to prevent the moonbats from using parliamentary shenanigans to delay seating Senator Brown.)

No. It *is* the people’s seat, after all. And Scott Brown would agree. However, at last, people’s business will be done at least in that office.

I didn’t like the Kennedy shout-outs, and personally didn’t care for the McCain one, but he’s playing the game right now...magritte

Thank and praise the good Lord for allowing the freedom and liberties of our great nation to live to see another day!

And thank all you great people of Massachusetts for turning up in such huge numbers at the ballot box and doing your part to help slow the radical left-wing tyranny coming out of Washington!

Next step is to dismantle this Marxist Machine at the polls in November! LET’S GO GET ‘EM!!

The hacks on MSDNC look like they just took a dump in their pants.

Much like human curiosity forces us to rubberneck at a car accident, I was tuned in to PMSNBC all night. First time for me and the other 6 viewers.

The chunky chick representing the womens rights or whatever group turned away from Matthews a few times to vomit off screen. What is her name? It was great to watch.

Wise words, and yes we will have to watch him and the ones who are already trying to buddy up to him to feather their own nests...SlickRomney for example.

Isn’t it ironic that the person voted in to replace him in the Senate could be the very one to blow away his lifelong effort in that Senate for socialized health care.

It is, and it couldn't happen to a more deserving bum than Ted "the swimmer" Kennedy. Sweet Justice.

I believe he has a strong 2A record. Abortion, no; let's hope he will change. Even with his present stance, hes far better than evil Coakley. Some of her statements on partial birth abortion made her sound as if she wished she herself could do the killing.

It is foolish to trust any politician, really--have to watch the moves they make and call them on the wrong ones. Scott Brown knows how his presence was felt all over the country; I think he realizes we helped him win, and will be working for us.

Well see if they allow him to be seated any time soon. For now, however:
