What a victory speech! What a gracious, humble and good man the people of Massachusetts elected to the US Senate tonight. Your victory is the victory of the American people. God bless and godspeed, Scott! You go with our prayers tonight!
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find only things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelogus

Never heard of this guy 3 weeks ago. He is impressing the hell out of me tonight with his victory speech. Palin/Brown 2012?

He doesn’t sound so humble to me. He’s ripping Obama to shreds.

And let me say this, with respect to those who wish to harm us, I believe that our Constitution and laws exist to protect this nation - they do not grant rights and privileges to enemies in wartime. In dealing with terrorists, our tax dollars should pay for weapons to stop them, not lawyers to defend them.
AWESOME!!!!!

It is actually hysterical to watch Keith Olbermann and Howard Fineman whine on and on about the speech. These two are going to need meds to get through the fact that, once again, voters have rejected “the one.”

Oh please, he lost me when he started stuttering he would be a “worthy” successor to Ted Kennedy.
I’m already suffering from buyers remorse. I keep repeating “At least he’s not Martha Coakley” in a failed attempt to feel better. As a true conservative, I again feel like the last lady left at the dance.
Sorry, just what I am thinking and what I am feeling. True patriots embrace dissention.

They thought you were on board with all of their ambitions. They thought they owned your vote. They thought they couldnt lose. But tonight, you and you and you have set them straight.

If the President thinks theyve got basketball talent at the White House, I ask him to pick his best teammate and find some time to play two-on-two with Ayla and me.Obama will probably call Kobe Bryant and appoint him to a staff position at the White House.

A worthy successor would repeal 99% of what Kennedy pushed.

Best line of the night. That line is exactly what the majority of Americans believe, and the mealy mouth Obama and his criminal approach to terrorism will lose tons of seat in Congress this fall.

Let’s run this guy for president!!
He seems to be a hell of a lot better than anything I’ve seen out of the GOP in years! He’s conservative, and not afraid to say so, and he can back up!!

Please. He could be a great leader. But right now he has less experience than BO had when he ran. Let’s see how he performs before nominating him for anything else.
