While it is well known that MSNBCs Keith Olbermann is the most viciously liberal voice to host a news program within the mainstream media, even he normally tones down his anti-conservative, anti-Republican vitriol when anchoring special events like election results. But during MSNBCs coverage of the Massachusetts special Senate election, Olbermanns presentation was more rabidly partisan than if the Democratic National Committee itself were producing the show.
As he anchored a special 10:00 p.m. edition of Countdown, Olbermann not only used one of his "Quick Comment" segments to repeat his infamous attack from the day before on Republican Senator-elect Scott Brown, but he also impatiently interrupted Browns victory speech, and, while Brown was still speaking, went on to give a second "Quick Comment" blaming Tea Party protesters and

Teabaggers will be demonized more now than ever since the tea party people are a proven force to be reckoned with.
Who is Keith Olbermann??
That’s alright, let him talk. The more he and the other Leftist moonbats talk, the better Conservatives look. Keep up the good work Keith.
I flipped over to watch him (violating my own house rules) just for schadenfreude purposes. And damned if, when he cut away from Brown’s speech (”before they get into the family chowder recipe”) - - he used the word “schadenfreude” in his first statement! Then he went on to his usual hatefilled attacks along with butt-monkey guest Arianna Huffington-Puffington.
I’ll say this forever..he had head trauma when he ran into that steel girder and he displays all symptoms of that mental disorder. I’m not being cheeky..I truly believe he has brain damage and the networks just enable him and feed into his damaged psyche.
I wasn't one of them.....
Maybe it’s just me but I can’t understand why things like this get posted on FR. Obermann is a total idiot and is there anyone here, ANYONE, that gives a damn what he thinks or has to say? His ratings, like Chris Matthew’s ratings is in the toilet.
I like Keith. I think the DNC should hire him as their official spokesman and feature him on national network TV every night. I’d also like to tender him an invitation to go deer hunting next fall.
The Scott Brown win has the Teabaggees’ panties in a serious wad.
I wonder how Olbermann feels about getting Tea Bagged by Scott. Scott not only Tea Bagged Olbermann, he Tea Bagged Obama and all the Democrats.
I predict that someone will beat Olbermann to death with his own purse.
I actually watched last night to see his head explode. He doesn’t even have enough power to make his own temples throb.
OldBitterMan is just that... and lives at home with his mother. Who cares what he thinks, does or says! NOT I
He’s always been a jackass. My husband couldn’t stand him during his ESPN days.
Here Keithy! Here Boy! Come to dinner! It’s Barking at the Moon! Yum! Yum!
Obermann stories are just as bad as those pit bull stories.
Olbermann confuses his everyday life (which includes real tea-bagging with his buddies) with the Tea Party movement. What an idiot!
I’d venture that ole Keith is much, much more familiar with ‘teabagging’ than he’s willing to say on air....
I flipped over to MSNBC for the same reason and apparently at the same time. It was just before Obermann cut into Brown’s speech. I actually thought Huffington made good sense. She kept hammering that the administration had been helping out the banks and hadn’t done anything to stem the tide on the economy. Naturally, her sentiments showed through, but at least her assessment of the loss was more accurate than the other guests.
I continued listening to MSNBC as the next show began. When I finally went to bed I realized that I had been listening to 48 minutes of MSNBC coverage and they had had NO Republican or conservative analysts. Not only did they all provide helpful hints to the Democrats on how to ride this out, one guy even warned the Republicans to not overplay their hand since Americans were “simply not on their side”! WoW!
Previously, I had been watching FOX where they included Dems like Willie Brown on their panels.
