CNN Elizabeth Cohen interviews makeshift medical tent personnel on January 18, 2010. Asking Harvard Medical Dr. Jennifer Furin, "Have the American's set up a field hosptial?" "Currently, not yet....
I don’t believe it. I’ve heard much discussion to the contrary. The media simply can’t be believed any more.
They can’t seem to help putting their agenda ahead of the truth.
Media indifference to reporting truth is, once again, criminal.
but.. i saw that bill and chelsea were there.
Every media type that responds to these disasters should have a advanced Medial Degree or stay the hell out...
The hospital ship is enroute.
The planners are counting on the Israeli field hospital for the bad cases.
These days I don’t think much about the Clintons anymore but......doesn’t Chelsea have a JOB? What is she doing in Haiti, playing nursemaid to her father while mom does her Sec. of State thing?
Heard today that a US hospital ship finally showed up ... some dimwit comes out and says “it’s a fully equipped hospital with surgeries and everything” ... (like as in “D’OH”) ...
BS..5 DMATS in country and another going Saturday..they havea hosp at a soccer field and the embassy..plus roaming to orphanges!
How many aircraft carriers (with full hospitals on board) has Israel parked off Haiti?
I guess a 1000 bed hospital ship doesn’t count. We can always do more.
The same people are probably pissed we are running the airport. We are running the airport because there was no one there to do it and NO ONE in the world from anywhere can run it like the US Military. PERIOD!
You know, the last thing Haitians want to hear is bammy is coming to help them out. After seeing what he does for his friends, the Haitians probably figure they are safer with earthquakes.
Seems like CNN and Elizabeth Cohen still hate America, despite all the good rescue work and feeding of the displaced.
Why?
I think it should be obvious to any observant person.
The Obama administration wants massive death and dying by the people of Haiti to be broadcast by the world’s news cameras in order to prepare the ground for resettling a large percentage of the Haitian population in the U.S.
We are started to hear the first drumbeats of this theme:
[Retired General] Honore says [Louisiana] should take Haitians

Anyone can see that it is not possible to provide relief to 2-3 million people primarily through a third-world airport.
It makes good television news coverage, though, of the Obama Administration’s caring.
Serious people look at the logistics. The obvious solution was to clear the port immediately. Many times more relief can be brought in by sea, and large tent cities could have been planned from which to provide water, medicine and food to the Haitians.
Why were orders given only TODAY to send a vessel with a crane to clear the debris from the seaport? EIGHT days later?

Are there any plans for large refugee camps to deal with the massive number of endangered Haitians?
No? Why not?
It is going to be week 3 when we see very large numbers of Haitians begin dying from disease from lack of clean water, infection, disease.
Why weren’t plans made to begin clearing the seaport immediately and provide relief to the Haitians through tent cities, rather than leaving them among the tens of thousands of decaying corpses, desperate roving gangs and rubble?
Does anyone believe there is any limit to the cynicism of committed Leftists?
Resettling a large part of the Haitian population in the US allows the Obama administration to politicize the disaster, by portraying those who oppose resettlement as racists.
Furthermore, and most importantly, resettling the Haitians will mean, a generation from now, millions of new Democrat voters.
The average IQ of people in Haiti is only 72. There will be some portion of this population who are very bright and hardworking and would be great assets to America. However, most will be perfect candidates for the indoctrinated victimhood welfare society.
Has anyone else heard that clinton owns much acreage in Haiti???
This seems to contradict a great many other reports. Like that’s a surprise.
Excellent.
Except they’re Army ;)
I guess it is safe to say I stand corrected...Thank you!
