Mitchell Pitches a New 5-Point Plan for Middle East Negotiations

some text (IsraelNN.com) United States envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell arrived in the region this week in efforts to further press the Jewish state into relinquishing territory to the American-backed Palestinian Authority. According to PA sources quoted by the London-based Arabic newspaper al-Hayat, Mitchell is unveiling a five-point plan that will force local parties back to the negotiating table and press Israel to retreat back to the Armistice Line that existed between the Jewish state and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan between the years 1949 and 1967.

Reflected in Mitchell’s new plan is an acceptance of the 2002 Arab Initiative, which calls for a complete Israeli surrender from all lands won in the 1967 Six-Day War and the establishment of a new Arab state in these lands. Mitchell announced last March that the Arab Initiative will be incorporated into the Barack Obama administration’s Middle East policy.

Mitchell ... has reportedly been coordinating efforts with Arab governments in the region to push Israel into surrendering Judea, Samaria and most of Jerusalem. Such concessions, according to most diplomats, would carry expectations from the international community that Israel forcibly expel hundreds of thousands of Jewish residents from their homes in Israel’s heartland after forty years of renewed residence there.

Although Netanyahu complied with Washington’s demands that he ban all Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria, the premier has thus far refused to extend the discriminatory freeze to Jewish building in Jerusalem. The Fatah-controlled PA has used this refusal as a pretext to avoid negotiations ...

Zero has a very pro-PA/Hamas agenda ... no country in history has every successfully exchanged land for peace. Besides, Jerusalem is Israel's birthright!

And can anyone imagine a budding nation in the West saying, “Well, we can build our own state, sure, no problem, but we can’t do it if we have Jews living here in their own neighborhoods” (or, blacks, or Eskimos, or Latinos, or whoever)....?

I wonder why that year 1967 sticks out in my mind... Hmmm...

FUBO! And the muzzie horse you rode in on!!

Re: “we can’t have our own nation if we have Jews living here”

good point ... almost like a creeping genocide or desire to maintain some “arab purity”. “We can live here ... but you can’t.”

Turning our backs on Israel will not be good for the USA. There is no blessing in this ... only condemnation.

And in other News, Israel delivered a five-point plan for the USA to withdraw from territories occupied in 1848 and called for the removal of all American settlers from settlements in the regions of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Utah, and Nevada...

(The UN is expected to agree with the demands.)

Too bad arab Mitchell just doesn’t ST*U. Just like the Blame America First crowd, he is also part of Blame Israel First crowd. Both of these crowds are the same people. We will pay for throwing Israel under the bus and I and many others don’t feel like paying the price. We paid under Carter with problems like high inflation, interest rates because of his anti-Israel stance.

Obama’s next proposal will be that Israel move back to pre-1948 borders with the “right of return” to the Arabs who left Palestine during that period.

re: “USA to withdraw from territories occupied in 1848”

Ha ha ... good one

Exactly! This is stupidity:
* pro-arab, anti-Israel,
* terrorist-nation-building, anti-democracy,
* pro-Islam, anti-Judeo-Christian

In short, it is easy for a muslim communist like Zero to embark upon

No surprise our government works with Muslim terrorist countries to force Israel into surrender.

Don’t worry American jews will still give Obama 75% of their vote. Just like African-Americans will give Harry Reid and Robert Byrd 90% of theirs.

There will never be peace. The US should let Israel and the Palestinians work this out on their own.

More evidence: Zero lifts ban on muslim brotherhood leader

"Obama administration has decided to lift a ban preventing Muslim Scholar Professor Tariq Ramadan from entering the United States. Ramadan, an Egyptian currently living in Switzerland, is a leading member of Europe’s Muslim Brotherhood branch and the grandson of the movement’s founder Hassan al-Banna. The Muslim Brotherhood is the parent organization for Hamas and some of the groups that recently merged into al-Qaeda, including Ayman al Zawahiri’s Egyptian Islamic Jihad."

I think maybe Mitchell's been instructed to say some real extreme ridiculous stuff so that BHO can simply "bow out" of the Middle East. I think his Narcissism has hit him in the face and knocked some sense into him --- that just because Mommy taught him how to read out of a book and later sound okay reading out of a teleprompter, that he has NO statesmen experience, NO historical knowledge, NO religious understanding, ETC. ETC. ETC. -- the "no's" could continue for many paragraphs.

BHO can't do nothing, and the faster he gets out of there, and particularly stops with the peculiar statements about Jerusalem, the settlements and Israel, the BETTER.

What a farce this administration is, and plenty of liberals told me, OH RAHM EMANUEL WILL MAKE THINGS GOOD FOR ISRAEL.

What a bad joke.

One of the worst periods in American history was when Mitchell was Majority leader in the Senate and Tip(sy) O'Neill was House Speaker.

Mitchell is still the Crown Prince of Stupidity who should have been relegated to the scrap heap of history rather than given any stature on a world stage.

Israel answered force with force and conquered the Arabs twice. To formulate any plan to have them give back conquered territory is sheer lunacy.

Like having a plan for the Yankees to give half their World Series titles to the Red Sox to make up for signing Babe Ruth.

They sure don't. He set the “terms” from the beginning and there is NO negotiations.
