Birtherism in Gubernatorial Debate [Georgia, Rep. Deal doubles down on Obama's birth certificate]
The Washington Independent ^ | January 22, 2010 | David Weigel

Quite a catch by Jason Pye–Rep. Nathan Deal (R-Ga.), who has waged a fairly under-the-radar campaign to demand President Obama’s birth certificate, was asked about it at a gubernatorial forum. Incredibly, Deal doubled down.

I don’t have any issues with his birth certificate, and I really don’t think it’s really something that is an issue in the governor’s race. None of these folks serve in Congress. None of them get asked the questions that I get asked by constituents, “tell me what the status of the president’s birth certificate is.” I have simply asked the president, “tell me where I can refer these constituent inquiries to, to a source that you think is credible so that we can answer their questions.” I think that is a reasonable proposition and certainly something that I think the president should respond to. Although at this point, he has not.

McCain provided DOCUMENTS before that vote.

Or when he registered as a foreign student and known as Barry Sotero.

The bigger question that should be asked of Obama is whether he was an Indonesian citizen and how and when did he cease to become an Indonesian citizen. If he took action as an adult to renew his Indonesian citizenship (such as during his college years) he would have lost his US citizenship by operation of law, whether or not the US government had ever been given notice of it. Ditto! Barry Sotero is on the way back to Kenya.

Agreed. As it becomes increasingly clear that BO is an incompetent fraud, a con man like his Kenyan father, an itinerant blow-hard like his white grandfather, and as his poll numbers sink further, even the MSM will become curious about his mysterious birth.

I think that may be one reason he looked so depressed and said all that about being confined, he know it is all about to hit the fan.

This explains alot of his anger.

He is very comfortable with the trappings of power and he knows its going to get pulled from him.

Hes got a three year term now.

A few month prior to the election, if he is in it, we need to march in DC demanding a long form certificate while we hold copies of the Republican long form certificate.
