“One of the most touching moments came when Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.) took the stage with her two-year-old son.

“I’m the proud mother of my two-year-old son, who happens to have Down syndrome,” McMorris Rodgers said, adding that she is “heartbroken” by the fact that 90 percent of babies diagnosed with the genetic disorder in utero are aborted.

“We can show them a better way,” she said. “A way that protects life.”

“Thanks for coming today,” McMorris Rodgers said. “You are standing up for your children. You are standing up for my son, Cole Rodgers. You’re standing up for the future of America.”’

Blessed events are ignored by the godless news media, but Fox News Channel's coverage was wonderful, and c-span's coverage was admirable too, save for the disgusting headline which purposely showed their bias. ETWN always does a wonderful job.

God Bless all of the marchers and our own workerbee was one of them.

You can read workerbee's reports starting HERE !!!!

At least it was on C-SPAN2 in the evening twice. A lot of excellent speakers, especially the Orthodox rabbi (Yehuda Levin) and the pastor from an AME church in Frederick, MD (Luke Robinson?). Terry Schiavo’s brother spoke.

Down syndrome is not a genetic disorder. The media keeps calling it genetic, causing people to worry unnecessarily that it runs in their family.
