Tentacles of Coakley's loss are reaching high and low (MA dem party disarray)
The Lowell Sun ^ | 01/22/2010 | Peter Lucas

Attorney General Martha Coakley is not the only local Democratic politician who came out a loser Tuesday.

Republican state Sen. Scott Brown's stunning victory over Coakley was also a major embarrassment to President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton, Gov. Deval Patrick, the Kennedy family and the entire Massachusetts Democratic establishment. All of the above campaigned for Coakley and all came out losers.

I watched an “interview” on FoxNews of a joint question/answer session with Kerry and Senator Brown. Brown was gracious while Kerry tried to hog the spotlight, but frankly, Kerry came across as desperate for attention while Senator Brown played it cool.

After Kerry’s second hip replacement?
Man, I hope he has been in some serious pain.

Good...they earned and deserved this devastating loss and they only need to look in the mirror to find the source of blame and faults.

I’ve seen a lot of interviews since Tuesday night but NOT one single interview of a Kennedy, Shriver or Swartzenager (sp?). Hmmmmmmmmmmm I’d have loved to see at least one of them interviewed, well maybe not Vicki.

Undoubtedly, Scott was well aware of Kerry's reputation as "Live Shot".

I’m glad they mentioned that phony poll in the Globe that Coakley up by 15. Has the Globe issued any statement at all?

Scott Brown’s unexpected victory in Massachusetts was God’s miracle to those of us who prayed the health care bill be stopped. I may be a terrible sinner for asking God to allow Robert Byrd to pass away so the dems would not the 60th vote. He didn’t listen to that request, but he created another miracle to accomplish the feat. Thank you, God!

Man, I hope he has been in some serious pain.

I recently read that under Kerry's personal guidance Mama T had lost a third of her $300 million nest egg. That's got to hurt a good bit.

If Kerry keeps that up Mama T will have to sell the Gulfstream jet and Kerry will no longer belong to Al Gore's club of Gulfstream flying global warming hypocrites.

There is also a message for politicians in Brown's victory, and the message is this: The people do not work for the government, the government works for the people. Forget that and you could end up a loser, too.

The liberals know that the people do not work for the government. And they have been working diligently for the past 100 years to change that.

"After Kerry’s second hip replacement?"

Kerry has had his prostate removed due to cancer and now his second hip replacement ( I never heard about the first one.) Is this guy falling apart or what? In addition his wife is recovering from breast cancer. You'd think this guy would retire and enjoy his wife's wealth and what's left of his time on earth while he still has the health to due so. But he thinks his presence in the Senate is too important for the nation. He's planning to hang on like Strom Thurmond, Teddy Kennedy and Robert Byrd. Egomanic. Let's hope he fails.

I can not understand why. Byrd. McCain. The list is endless. Why? Is power so intoxicating?

These guys live for power and it is often found in the clutches of their cold dead hands, long after it did them any good.
