During a meeting with John Boehner he insisted to the leader that it wasn’t his policies that were failing, it was the republicans who were creating fear.

Look for that to be the theme of his SOTU. It’s all the fault of President Bush for leaving him with ‘this mess’ and the republicans in congress who are fear mongering.

Any bets on how many times he say “I” in the State of the Union Speech?

I + me + my = 127

Obama’s main priority is vacations.

Betcha he takes two more befor the SOTU. Unless, of course, he moves the SOTU to a later date.

“My advice would be that he pick up the phone and ask for Bill Clinton’s advice on how to recover from a situation like this.”

Because we all know Bubba only wants what’s best for Barry.

The national unemployment rate for January, among other stats, will be released on February 5. Last month, it held steady at "only" 10.0% (with some questionable assumptions pertaining to how many were looking for jobs, as opposed to how many had given up looking, in which case they are not counted as unemployed, and no, I don't understand that, either).

If the unemployment percentage starts moving up again, above the psychologically important 10% rate, Ø is in even bigger trouble.

“Tim Robbins supports 10 GOP candidates”

Huh? I don't think we've actually gone over to an alternate universe yet, have we?

Then again, maybe getting away from Susan Sarandon has lifted the dememtia from his brain?

All thru’ the day I me mine, I me mine, I me mine.
All thru’ the night I me mine, I me mine, I me mine.
Now they’re frightened of leaving it
Ev’ryone’s weaving it,
Coming on strong all the time,
All thru’ the day I me mine.

I-I-me-me mine,
I-I-me-me mine,
I-I-me-me mine,
I-I-me-me mine.

All I can hear I me mine, I me mine, I me mine.
Even those tears I me mine, I me mine, I me mine.
No-one’s frightened of playing it
Ev’ryone’s saying it,
Flowing more freely than wine,
All thru’ Your life, I me mine.

I-I-me-me mine,
I-I-me-me mine,
I-I-me-me mine,
I-I-me-me mine.

All I can hear I me mine, I me mine, I me mine.
Even those tears I me mine, I me mine, I me mine.
No-one’s frightened of playing it
Ev’ryone’s saying it,
Flowing more freely than wine,
All thru’ your life I me mine.

At the end of Barack Obama’s worst week since taking power a year ago, the US president’s fortunes look set only to deteriorate over the coming days.

It's interesting that the basic journalistic framework for covering this administration is "Obama vs. the United States." Things go well for the citizens, and it's "Obama's worst week."

Well, may each week be more worst than the one before, for Zero and his cringing minions in the media.

Some wild predictions:

* Tim Robbins verbally is quoted as saying he supports some Republican candidate
* Angelina Jolie does something similar, which is likely why there’s trouble in the Bragdelina land
* Jolie also gets reunited with her dad
* Kenyan dictator Obama says in the SOTU address, “I” 79 times
* Kenyan dictator Obama says in the SOTU address, “the previous 8 years or previous administration” 25 times

Any other predictions anyone? This kind of stuff is fun.

Angelina is left of center but not as liberal as most of Hollywood.

Wednesday, I think - no matter - I won't be watching it (too disgusting for me).

It’s too late for these butt wipes to change their tune and move center right if that’s what they’re thinking. Simply running an ad reminding the public of his/her enthusiastic backing of the fraud in chief will destroy them.

I have compared Obama to Chance the Gardner, in the movie Being There.
People should really watch that movie; the comparison seems even stronger as time goes on.

“Rahm & Axelrod will be gone after the SOTU.”

You jest of course. Why do you think Rahm and Axelrod were hired to go w/Obama to the White House? I’ll tell you. First, they are his working brain. He is the frontman propagandist, they do all the dirty work behind the scenes. All he has to do is talk, they do the work.

Second, Obama, Emmanuel, and Axelrod all think exactly alike. They are all leftist, marxists, w/tinges of fascism. Puny minds thinking alike, but dangerous minds, nevertheless. They all have the same ideology, were weaned on Saul Alinsky (as was Hillary who wrote her thesis on Alinsky), and have the same intent of changing our country to something unrecognizable, a marxist, socialist State.

Third, Rahm Emmanuel and David Axelrod know all of Obama’s secrets. They know all the dirt. Obama could no more get rid of them than he could his wife (who also knows all the secrets). They are all joined at the hip, no escape from each other, forever linked. The only way Rahm and David would ever leave their positions is if they themselves want out, but they could never be pushed out, as they would turn on Obama in a heartbeat. Both are cold, calculating, political revolutionists who would toss Obama over if he ever screwed with them. Obama would do the same if he knew he could get away with it. Michele would probably be the first to go.

So, believe me, the only way Rahm or David will ever leave the White House is when they want to themselves, never forced out. The three of them, Obama, Emmanuel, and Axelrod, are the new Axis of Evil.
