Plouffe to Dems: No 'bed-wetting'
UPI ^ | January 24, 2010

WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. Democratic Party campaign strategy manager David Plouffe says now is not the time for "bed-wetting" after the party lost a Massachusetts Senate election.

Plouffe, appointed by President Barack Obama to staunch further Democratic losses after Republican Scott Brown last week won the seat once held by the late Edward Kennedy, listed "no bed-wetting" in a Sunday Washington Post opinions piece as among the actions the party must take to recover in time for the 2010 midterm elections.

We have a new name for the RATS : The “bed wetters”. If they think we are “tea baggers”, then they can wet the beds.

David Plouffe issued a video challenge for Obama supporters to buy a copy of his book on December 8, 2009 in order to “Beat Sarah Palin” and her best-selling book for one day.

Plouffe is married to Olivia Morgan, a principal at the Dewey Square Group, a Washington based political and public affairs firm (aka LOBBYISTS)

According to the Washington Post, DSG (Dewey Square Group) “has been paid by General Motors Corp., the American Insurance Association, AT&T Corp., Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association and Microsoft, among others, to drum up support from voters for legislation the companies advocate.” Other clients include Northwest Airlines, UnitedHealth Group, the Alaska Oceans Program and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

DSG’s approach to lobbying “attempts to get prominent local citizens and organizations to lobby on behalf of interest groups. Unlike conventional lobbying, the technique does not require the firms’ principals to meet with or even talk to lawmakers. ... The method is considered effective because lawmakers usually do not even know that they’ve been lobbied.”

“Because mass mobilizations have become so prevalent, a number of firms have become experts in a technique known as ‘grass-tops’ lobbying, aimed at mobilizing an elite as opposed to the masses. The goal is to figure out to whom a member of Congress cannot say no: his chief donor, his campaign manager, a political mentor. The lobbyist then tries to persuade that person to take his client’s side. If the method works, the member of Congress may never know that a person contacting him had been revved up by a lobbyist. To pull off this feat, Washington lobbying and public relations firms keep databases of organizers across the country, most of them with backgrounds in politics.”

DSG “consults for two of the big Democratic 527s

America Coming Together - hedge fund investor and philanthropist George Soros announced he would donate $10 million to ensure that Bush was not re-elected. The initial newstories indicated that the PAC would be named America Coming Together

Stronger America Now - The group, which a Democratic source said was funded by trial lawyers

Yeah, well, two challengers announced that they were running against our SEIU Candidate, Rick Larsen, in the primary this week, one from the left and one from the right. The woman who is running as a more moderate Democrat claims that she supports single payer health care, but thinks that it must be done in a bi-partisan way.

The slogan that was heard at her announcement was,”We will remember in November.” I’d say that the Rick Larsen supporters might need some of those depends.

The Marxist should be focussed on cutting spending and taxes instead of constant, non-stop campaigning.

They need a hired gun to craft a message to hide what they really believe. . . so what is new?

The American public has figured out that the Rat Leftists ALWAYS lie about what they believe. They have lost the trust of the American electorate. HOPEFULLY, that trust will be very, very difficult to restore. They have finally shown their true face.

That is the message the Republicans should hammer on day after day after day after day. . . .

Telling liberals not to wet the bed is like telling a dog not to bark. Pointless. It’s what they DO.
