(VANITY) DIRECTION OF COUNTRY
me | 1-26-10 | me

Posted on 01/26/2010 4:51:20 AM PST by GUNGAGALUNGA

I have been up since 2 am this morning worrying about the state of afairs in this country. 1) The health care is alive then dead still kicking a little 2) Do not feel safe with the current crowd we have 3) What will America look like when these jack booted thugs get finished with it. 4) What opportunities will be left for my children?

Ah hell just ranting. I remember the gold old days when liberals were not raving leftist moonbats. Now that they control all three we see the real face of liberalism and I hope voters will always remember it.

Rant off.

All I want to see is the Headline HEALTH CARE DEAD!! If they can not get that then they lose on everything else and they know that. I have to rely on Representatives like Bob Ethridge Brad Miller and the feckless David Price.

Get the commies out of here

According to Fox news the nation is rapidly leaning Right.
Beck has some interesting facts daily on his show. While not promoting him, I do feel the info. he provides is staring to reach many and things are going to turn around.

If my children who are called by my name will turn from their wicked ways (repent) then will I hear from them in Heaven

There is still much good in America, if there were not we would have already have fallen because of wickedness.

We saw that headline before back in the 90s. Then, in the 00s, with a GOP president and Congress, we got the prescription drug entitlement, federal education policies, campaign finance reform laws, etc. And now health care is back again.

If you're looking for that moment when you can just relax, you're going to be disappointed. Better to accept that your freedom is constantly under assault from government at all levels. And while your at it, accept that 200 years of operation has created a national government with virtually unlimited scope of power. They can insinuate themselves into the smallest details of life, and the Constitution, interpreted by the national judiciary, upholds it.

Things are even worse than they appear. You might as well get your rest, though. Staying up all night worrying doesn't help.

The media they control would have been dead long ago if not for people like George Soros holding it up. I’m not being defeatist, only acknowledging the fact that evil is more powerful in this world than good, which is why we shouldn’t consider ourselves citizens of it. You can win minor victories against Satan, but don’t think you can wrest the world from him. Only God can do that.

Telepathic Intruder in post 24 correctly points out that on this earth we can find peace in the spiritual kingdom of Christ. Outside of Christ there is no complete peace. One of my favorite songs has the words, “this world is not my home, I’m just passing through. My treasures are laid up, somewhere beyond the blue.” A Christian Jew who survived the holocaust wrote later that he survived because he never forgot that no one could take his spirit unless he gave it to them. And he refused. Keep focused on the daily spiritual provisions for your family and you will find your anxiety will go away. No matter what government we live under, when we leave this earth, the only impact of our existence that will remain, is that which we had on our family. Make sure your eternity will be with them. There is true peace in Christ.

And on a government note—I make this pledge to you, my fellow citizen. I will use my vote responsibly. When Nov. comes, the candidates who get my vote will be those who recognize the Creator as the originator of natural law, who know the constitution, who will defend it,and who support states rights as was meant from the beginning of this country. As long as God blesses us with the opportunity to have a voice, I will speak responsibly.

I hope that helps.

We all need to get over that in a hurry. We outnumber them.

Maybe...but they are the ones who hire and fire. Can't see a solution yet.
