Palin has shown she is no more a conservative than McAmnesty.

Heh... they wish. The people posting on Facebook are liberal trolls. This is more of the politics of personal destruction, to create a reality that doesn’t exist.

I’m curious to see how many were trolls posting those comments. Last time I checked, her average post on Facebook receives close to a thousand comments so picking and choosing ten or so negative ones could be easy if that was your agenda.

McCain picked Palin. Why are some people so surprised that he picked someone that agreed with him on most issues?

Without McCain....Palin would be UNKNOWN! (And, with Palin, McCain will be ????? - replay Pres election 2008!) I’m not sure she’s running for ANYTHING....so keep your knickers unwound....

let’s hear what she has to say. I like a woman that is loyal. My wife is behind me even when I’m a jerk (lets me have it privately. )

That’s a tough one. Personal loyalty vs. personal beliefs. I doubt she made the choice with her future in mind and decided she owed mcCain. FWIW, she’s also backing the wrong horse in the Texas governor race. She’s back perry out of loyalty and friendship but Medina (sp?) is the real conservative and could actually win if Palin endorsed her and increased her name recognition.

I’m irritated, but willing to forgive.

Especially if McKennedy gets his RINO butt kicked out and he has go and live with his bimbo daughter.

Could be Sarah wanted to get in good with the establishment Republicans should she herself choose to run for office later.

"McCain might eventually have real trouble in the Arizona primary."

Now there's an understatement.

This is the best reason for all politicians to keep their endorsements to themselves. We don’t pay any attention to them anyway when we vote.

Last I checked, McCain is the only reason anyone outside of Alaska even knows who Palin is.

The people complaining about this were never supporters of Sarah to begin with.

We all knew this was coming, and yes even I was initially upset and posted a vanity about it. But at the same time, I also realized that in no way should it be held against her, unless of course she starts stumping for McCain cronies such as Crist.

In this particular case, Sarah's endorsement carries no more weight than a Bush endorsement of McCain. I trust that the people of AZ will make the right decision, Sarah will learn that the Tea Party movement is about getting rid of statist incumbents from BOTH parties, not just the Dems, and she'll be a stronger person/candidate because of it.

Besides, we all know that Sarah is a woman of her word. If she said she was going to endorse and campaign for McCain, then she's going to do it. She's not going to fret over what other people say or think, and that's what wins me over with her.

Dems just issued a memo detailing how to split the GOP, and FReepers are sadly falling for it.

The endorsement of the over-the-hill Rino is the biggest reason for doubt about her political savvy I’ve had so far.

Palin made it rather clear she wasn’t interested in a third party. If she plans on a POTUS run, she will have to kiss the ring of the RNC; but I believe she will remain true to her convictions. Just because you sleep in a barn don’t make you a cow.

She's not stupid enough to campaign for McCain...anyone who things she would do such a thing should put on a flame-retardant suit! I mean, look at what happened when Bob J suggested such a ridiculous thing!

Question for Palinistas. What will you say when... ...Palin endorses John McCain?

McCain gave Palin the biggest endorsement any politician ever gave her by picking her for the vice presidency.

Yes, there is no personal advantage to her political career by returning the favor and endorsing McCain over the conservative in the race, but this is completely understandable and demonstrates personal decency over political expediency.

Everyone knows why she is endorsing McCain and no one can believe that the reason is that she has suddenly changed her beliefs.
