I'm working on a video and I need help/input resources (web sites etc)
Theme: History Repeating
Goal: keep it related to the current political themes/motivations/anger/frustration going on in the country today.
I'm open to all input and will post it here for feedback.
ideas to get things going...
1. detroit then and now... CA...
2. biblical: "borrower slave to the lender" China (jobs, food, manufacturing) Saudi (oil) Banks (debt mortgages, bailouts)
3. wiemar republic (inflation) etc
Depends on how much time you have to set the context...
Chamberlain making a deal with the Germans - only to have them take the extra steps
similar to Iran allowing them to develop nuclear weapons for years with no meaningful response
not a sexy show, but the most important
Churchill said it was like feeding others to the crocodile in the hopes that he eats you last or some such

There have recently been emails circulating around the ‘net,
(my sister sent me one, and there was one here on FR), featuring pix of glittering Hiroshima, juxtaposed with pix of a ruined and abandoned Detroit. THe header was “Who really won World War Two?”. I’ll get a link to either of them if I can find it tomorrow AM. Or maybe someone reading this can. I can see them being used in the usual zoom in, zoom out style that so many vids using stills seem to be using these days.
