Soft on Terror (Krauthammer)

he real scandal surrounding the failed Christmas Day airline bombing was not the fact that a terrorist got on a plane -- that can happen to any administration, as it surely did to the Bush administration -- but what happened afterward when Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was captured and came under the full control of the U.S. government.

After 50 minutes of questioning him, the Obama administration chose, reflexively and mindlessly, to give the chatty terrorist the right to remain silent. Which he immediately did, undoubtedly denying us crucial information about al-Qaeda in Yemen, which had trained, armed and dispatched him.

We have since learned that the decision to Mirandize Abdulmutallab had been made without the knowledge of or consultation with (1) the secretary of defense, (2) the secretary of homeland security, (3) the director of the FBI, (4) the director of the National Counterterrorism Center or (5) the director of national intelligence (DNI)

Krauthammer: "After 50 minutes of questioning him,
the Obama administration chose, reflexively and mindlessly,
to give the chatty terrorist the right to remain silent.
"

With the failure to release any documentation (including the BC)
and given the history of Obama protecting terrorists and not Americans,
Krauthammer is dishonest for Obama, when he says this was "mindlessly" done.

This has been systematic treason against America.

Krauthammer is dishonest for Obama

I don't think Charlie is dishonest, but is just having a hard time accepting that our President is truly aiding and abetting our enemy (which he clearly is).

Charlie has been incredibly honest about Obama when others have been willing to give him (Obama) a flyer (on things like Obama's malignant narcissism and patent dishonesty). I think that living inside the beltway puts Charles and others at a great disadvantage.

That said, I do expect Charles to lead the charge eventually (in the near future I hope) regarding Obama's treason.

From the comments on the original article:
Carter proved you can't embarrass a Democrat. Clinton proved you can't shame a Democrat. Obama keeps repeating that you can't blame a Democrat.

Correct me if I am wrong since I was otherwise busy with my sock drawer inventory and the SOTU being on the TV totally slipped my mind, but didn't TOTUS/POTUS have two members of the military sitting with Michelle/The Belt?

And didn't these two soldiers subdue the terrorist shooting up Ft. Hood?

And didn't the TOTUS/POTUS ignore them and not recognize them?

And wasn't this the first time ever that in a SOTU address that military personnel were specifically invited to attend and NOT recognized for their service to the country?

"Obama needs to be tried for treason."

Oh right! We don't even have the guts to require him to show his birth certificate the way we all have had to do in many situations throughout our lives ..... and you think we would have the wherewithall to try him for treason!!!!!!

“...to give the chatty terrorist the right to remain silent.”

i’m confused on this. does this right exist only after some US official grants it? why grant it at all if that’s the case? if it exists whether or not the US official grants it, then isn’t anything the perp said before clamming up inadmissable?

we’re being governed by children.....

Charles called Obama a scoundrel on the Fox panel. After the next break, he used some fancy words that amounted to what seemed a producer induced apology.

It is getting nasty out there.

lol...I heard the scoundrel part (related to "patriotism being the last refuge" for such IIRC).

What kind of reversal did he offer?

Who exactly made the decision to Mirandize this terrorist? My bet is Obama was too busy golfing and surfing in Hawaii and blew off the decision to some functionaries in the DOJ.

Nope.

Krauthammer KNEW Obama was a sociopath
with Munchhausen by proxy
(as America is finally learning)
and said nothing.

Now, Krauthammer is calling a DELIBERATE action
“mindless”. That is mindless behavior for an MD shrink.

I can’t tell you. He rattled it off so quick and it was not in the common language and I don’t remember precisely what he said.

He came on and quickly rattled it off and they immediately moved on as if it hadn’t happened.

Oh, OK.

I thought you were saying that Krauthammer was dishonest because he knew Obama was a traitor and as such would be operating from motive not mindlessness.

Many of us (probably including you) knew Obama was a sociopath/psychopath very early in the campaign. I was thinking that being a psychopath doesn't preclude someone from making mindless mistakes.

Freaky world when we learn that our President is a compulsive liar, a narcissist, a psychopath, a psychopathic narcissist (an entirely new diagnosis only now under consideration by DSM-V), and a traitor. Next we'll learn he is an alien-human hybrid.;-)

Once you’ve read a man Miranda rights, what do you say? We are idiots? On second thought . . .

That was in the National Review Online version. If it wasn't so serious, it would be funny.
