resign and not seeking re-election are two different things.
Then, there's Joe Biden. There at the Biden compound you can find anybody and everybody all the time stopping by to visit with his son ~ and you'll notice he just decided he can't run for Senate in Delaware "for some reason". Maybe Buyer knows!
Then there's Nancy Pelosi ~ her father was a Siciliano Protectore.
No doubt she learned some early tricks that'd make Rep. Buyer blush eh.
At the same time there are tens of millions of unemployed young men in this country, a large number of them veterans of recent wars.
Let's let the Democrats imagine that he's retiring from Congress for the purpose of "rebuilding America from the ground up" eh!
Meanwhile Charlie Rangel still surivies.
Meanwhile Charlie Rangel still surivies.
Republicans are forced to resign. democrats are praised and rise within the ranks of the democrat party.
As others point out, what about Rangel?
Unbelievable. There is NO WAY anyone should feel compelled to leave Congress as long as that criminal remains in the House. However, Republicans seem to feel shame and disgrace, which I guess is the difference here.
Thanks, you're right. I'm surprised there's no one at Fox who doesn't know the difference between resigning and retirement.
what about Rahmbo’s nonprofit?
WHo will be running in his place?
And yet, Barney Frank, Charles Rangel, Chris Dodd, Alan Mollohan, John Conyers, the blank panthers...........nothing happens...
As Buyer is MY Congressman - that's an excellent question!! Going to have to research this one.
