I'd bet they were there to remind him of the plan. That is for Americans to get our nose rubbed in Obama for eight years. After that, we'll be ready for another Bush (Jeb) to take over and further undermine Reagan principles in the GOP.

The problem is that America doesn't seem like it is willing to put up with eight years of Obama, understandable. I believe the Bushes, Jeb and George H.W. were there to evaluate the probability of Obama's re-election in 2012 along with steps they need to take to ensure it.

I don't think there's any other reason in the world for the two Bush men to go out in snowy roads, or for Obama to spend a half hour with them. The roads are pretty bad in DC today. It's in the low 20s and the salt isn't doing much.

There's no way Jeb Bush gets the GOP nomination in 2012. So, if Jeb is ever to be President -- do not doubt that that's what the entire Bush familiy is working towards and the only thing they care about -- Obama has to be re-elected.

I don’t see Jeb ever making the presidency.

Interesting theory you have there.

Good grief. That is as irrational a post as I’ve ever seen on FR, and that’s saying something.

Obama is a disaster. As far as I’m concerned, any good sense the Bushes can expose him to is a welcome sign.

I can’t stand the “everybody is evil but me” attitude of a vocal few here on FR.

The Bushes are good people. I don’t care if you disagree with them politically, but your comments just make you sound stupid.

George P. has to get his foot in the door pretty soon to make his great uncle proud.

A family of poor elected leaders. imo I’ll never vote for another Bush.

They’re responsible for nearly 1/2 our national debt!! Think about that (and don’t absolve them by saying it’s up to Congress).

If they can’t even tell us what the meeting was about, assume it was something fishy or “bipartisan.”

obama probably whining for help from them to “save his presidency” by making those mean ol’ republicans stop “playing politics” and just hop on the train to collectivism

One party rule- gotta love it if you’re a despot. And it would work here if only the other party would cooperate .....

This is not the final years of the Roman Republic where three families traded (and fought) for control.

Theory rejected.

Why would the Bushes have anything whatsoever to do with the Kenyan when he blames everything on Bush and can’t take responsibility for anything

If the Bush’s have any particular agenda, ie; Haiti relief, they would go to Obama, being they have that special right.

Also, from what I’ve seen of the White House menu, prob serves up a pretty good breakfast.

I somewhat agree.

I really, really don’t like Bush senior.

But, I think the plan is for george p to be the next Bush.

Wrong Bush son, given the economy. Neil is the one with the banking background - remember Silverado? He’s the one that should be giving advice to Obama.

Obama wants Jeb and H.W. to help him sell a plan to bring 3 million Haitians to Florida and Texas as a humanitarian “necessity”.
