In the Republicans weekly address.
Conservatives often give Sen. Susan Collins grief for her willingness to compromise with Democrats (but note that she joined all 39 other GOP Senators and voted AGAINST the Dem health bill and the increase in debt). Here, she comes out swinging hard on the sheer idiocy of the Obama Administration's handling of the Christmas Bomber. Let's give her a vote of thanks for getting this issue right!

Valuable intelligence which might prevent the next attack has been lost. The next attack may be a direct result of the Obama Administration's decision to treat Abdulmatallab as a criminal, not an enemy combatant!

Sorry, just not all that brave. Is she against killing puppies and kitties, too?
Don’t worry. This RINO will be servicing like monica soon.
hmmm....somebody must be reading the polls in Maine.
It seems obvious that the state doesn’t WANT to protect us from further plane bombs, otherwise they would do whatever it takes to gather intel from assholes like the crotch bomber. Was it different under Bush? I think so. And w/regards to trying KSM in NYC, the libs always throw out how that other terrorist was tried there successfully (can’t remember his name) blah blah. We are at the mercy of incompetents.
Sounds like someone wants to be re elected.
Maine incumbents are very rarely thrown out of office.
uncalled for.
Same tune in Mass., BUT . . . .
In that case let us try to VOTE them out.
Next she'll be telling us that the sun sets in the west.
Her real job is to make Olympia look intelligent, at least in comparison. Sort of a Boxer-Feinstein arrangement. How we wound up with both of'em is a mystery to me. A look behind their scenes is damn scary.
Well Olympia picked a good year to run ('94) and Collins had the good fortune to run against Brennan.
