Christiane Amanpour has based her entire career on advocacy journalism, so where is the surprise?

No one even knew who she was until she took up advocating the Bosnian Muslims in the Bosnian war 20 years ago.

Big "coincidence" -- Christiane Amanpour was born in Iran, the Bosnian Muslims had the support of Iran and was being supplied illegal arms by Iran, but no one mentioned that. And anyone who tried to get that connection information out, was labeled "a Serb apologist for genocide".

August 13, 1992. "The [sniper] killing of US broadcaster ABC's producer David Kaplan and the shooting down of an Italian Air Force G.222 transport aircraft on approach to Sarajevo. In both these cases Serbian forces were out of range, and the weapons actually used against the victims were not those claimed by the Bosnian Muslim authorities and the parroting Western media." (Offensive in the Balkans, by Yossef Bodansky). In the case of David Kaplan, who was inside a vehicle in Bosnian Muslim territory, the shot had to have come from ground level. However, CNN's Christiane Amanpour, in interviews such as the Charlie Rose Show, blamed the Serbs for the death of David Kaplan. Christiane Amanpour is CNN's female version of Peter Arnett.

Having directly influenced US foreign policy in the Balkans, Amanpour was made "a hero" to her fellow journailsts -- even if it required lying. So what do you think you can expect from her? Except more lies!

So Amanpour, her husband Jamey Rubin in the Clinton Administration, and Army Psychological Operations were all singing the exact same tune in perfect harmony on CNN -- and all the networks followed CNN and precisely the same storyboard. There wasn't a real "journalist" anywhere in sight -- only a Greek chorus of government, military and news corporation talking-heads -- and Christiane Amanpour was Lady McDeath in this tragedy.

I heard Mark Thiessen on the Bill Bennett show talking about water boarding and why it was so effective. The jihadi’s are not required to ‘never talk’. They’re required to keep quiet and resist until they feel they can’t resist anymore. Thiessen says that terrorists were never questioned while they were being boarded. They were questioned before hand. If they resisted or lied they were water boarded and then in a day or so questioned again. He said most of them only lasted for 2-3 sessions before they felt that they had ‘resisted’ enough. Then they started singing and even bragging about what their plans were.

Mark Thiessen has gotten our CIA (or what have you) interrogators to talk to him. Probably due to all the lies and hysteria from Eric Holder, Nancy Pelosi and the 0bama administration. Our interrogators wanted the real story to come out and Thissen wrote a book based on it
