And what can we do about it?

Nothing.

Perhaps the students first should read up on the perils of socialism, the Constitution of our country and the Deceleration of Independence. You really should understand what you are getting before you buy into it.

From the aritcle: "“Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda” and "[W]e are concerned with how to create mass organizations to seize power … We are talking about a mass power organization which will change the world…This means revolution.”

Right out of the Red Book of Mao and "He who controls the youth owns the future" Adolph Hitler

Hey Obama, Leave our Kids Alone!

In the meantime, down the hall, I’m requiring my students to read “One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich” and comparing the current progressive agenda to Mussolini. Students are lining up at the door in such numbers they need to be turned away. Want to mess with me? I’ve got tenure, kids score through the roof on standardized tests, and I’m teaching to the standards. Bring it on.

And there are many, many more of us out there than is commonly recognized, working quietly, like termites in the structure of leftist belief, doing a Gramsciian march through THEIR institutions.

Or to paraphrase a slogan from the sixties: What if they gave us a revolution and nobody showed up?

Doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Atlas Shrugged reported and all I see picking it up are Horowitz and Big Government.

Wrote to the two local newspapers in the area and got no reply.
