States' Secretaries of State Are Tipping Balance of Power (Soros influence)
Fox News ^ | February 01, 2010 | Ed Barnes

In every major election since 2000 Secretaries of State have emerged as key, often decisive, and partisan figures in the outcomes of those ballot battles.

In 2000 it was Katherine Harris, the secretary of state of Florida, who made critical decisions that helped swing the state Republican.

In 2004 it was Kenneth Blackwell, Ohio's Secretary of State, who earned democratic wrath for ensuring a close Republican win.

In 2008 it was the Secretary of State of Minnesota, Mark Richie, who handed that state's Senate seat to Al Franken and control of Congress to the Democrats.

In every major election since 2000 Secretaries of State have emerged as key, often decisive, and partisan figures in the outcomes of those ballot battles.

And just last week in Massachusetts there was cause of concern that the upset victory by Scott Brown could be compromised by that state's Secretary of State, who has to certify the results.

According to Professor Robert Pastor of the Center for Democracy and Election Management at American University, the situation has gotten so bad that the partisan roles of the secretaries of states in the election process are undermining the faith of Americans in the election process.

....And now there is a quiet, below-the-radar but major effort to target secretary of state offices in order to influence the outcome of upcoming elections.

Since 2006 the Democracy Alliance, a left leaning influence group funded by George Soros among others, has had remarkable success in targeting and claiming Secretary of State's offices in 11 of 13 critical states they targeted, including Ohio, Minnesota and Iowa.

Have Democrats seize control of the country's election machinery. Remember, its not who votes that counts but he who counts the votes that is critical.

George W. Bush won Florida because more people voted for him than for Al Gore, but if the Democrats had had a Secretary of State in place, he or she would have tipped the state to Gore. Even with the whole country watching, local Democrat officials manufactured votes for Gore from ballots which showed no preference for any candidate.

Don’t forget the theft of Washington state’s governor’s election by Fraudoire which was signed off by the state secretary of state who was a republican.

Interesting how liberal storylines become facts. Ohio was not as close in 2004 as Pennsylvania, but the libs tried to manufacture controversy in Ohio. In 2000, FL was not influence by the GOP SOS or by the USSC, it was almost highjacked by the state Supreme Court creating a false ruling without any legal basis. Even honest Dems said it was a terrible decision. The USSC bitchslapped the FL SC and their ridiculous decision.

Scumbag journalism at it's worst. The "problem" has been that the Rats couldn't sway the SoS's to cheat for them, so now they are on the attack to replace them or set up conditions that undermine their power and enable Rat vote fraud.

Rats can't do a thing without journalst whores to spin their open, brazen thieving lies into expressions of "hope" for the "people" against "injustice."

The MSM is truly the fifth column - they're worse than lawyers (which is also an astounding achievement).

Katherine Harris did nothing but her job....believe me, I wish she had done something to end that fiasco in Florida....

the truth is...nobody helped the pubs.....

the Sec of State in Washington even though a supposed pub has handed senate races and governor races over to the rats....

and lets not forget about Minn and even New Jersey a few years ago....where they decided they could throw in a new candidate without a blink of an eye....

Dr. Pastor and his group advocate "non-partisan" election management, and have gone so far as to draw up sample legislation to that end. And who is the neutral and impartial Dr. Pastor? Click here.
