He “sounds” good...he “looks” good....but I long ago stopped trusting politicians. If they cannot continuously show me their fitness for the position, they’ll have a problem with me.

Exactly. When I see folks around here using the words faith and trust with respect to any politician, you’re asking for trouble. Put your faith in Jesus, not a politician.
